Refresh now Renew to reconnect your Connections
What changed?
We changed the Refresh button to Renew when updating your connections in Channable. This change complements recent updates to our setup process for marketplaces.
If you have connection problems, go to Company settings > Connections, select the connection with issues, and click Renew.
The button works exactly the same. Only the name has changed.
Connect seller account later for marketplace channels
November 17, 2025
What's changed?
You can now set up your marketplace (API) channel (e.g. Amazon, bol, Kaufland) completely before linking your seller account.
Previously, you had to connect your seller account first to start preparing your channel to send data.
Connect later: When you create a new marketplace channel, you can skip connecting your seller account and go straight to setting up your channel.
Set up first: You can now adjust channel settings, categorize, create rules, and map attributes without linking an account.
Connections rename: We changed Connection status to Linked seller account. This is functionally exactly the same — selecting a seller account connects your channel to your marketplace seller account to open two-way communication that allows us to send and receive listing information for you.
Who's affected?
Users who create new marketplace channels: You can now explore channel setups and see what’s needed before applying for or connecting your seller account.
Frequently asked questions
Why did you make this change?
New users often found it confusing to link their account right away from setting up their channel. This change lets you explore before connecting your account, just like when you create a feed.
Do I still need a seller account to send listings?
Yes. You need a seller account to send and update your products on the marketplace. After linking it, you'll need to turn on your channel and run it to send your listings.
How do I know if my channel is ready to run?
It's up to you. Most people don't get all their products accepted on the first try — that's normal!
Match your product details, fix any errors shown in the Quality step, then link your seller account. Then, activate your channel and run it. You'll get actionable feedback you can use to make improvements and re-run your channel.
Legacy Channable API tokens expire December 9
November 7, 2025
What’s changed?
Legacy Channable API tokens are expiring on December 9, 2025. Any requests using an expired token will be blocked and return 401 errors.
If you were using our Channable API for data sync, to continue importing orders, sending stock updates, and accessing returns via our API, you must generate a new token and update your systems.
Who is affected
Affected: Users with one or more systems or integrations that use a Channable API token generated on the legacy version
Not affected: Users who do not use the Channable API or who have already replaced their tokens recently (within the last 6 months)
What you need to do (affected users only)
Only users with Owner access can generate and revoke tokens.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I need to generate a new token?
Channable API tokens are used by external systems to securely authorize and perform actions with your Channable account. This includes fetching data (like orders or returns) and pushing data (like stock updates).
If the token expires, any system relying on it to connect to Channable will receive a 401 error, causing data synchronization to fail until it’s updated.
What happens if I don’t update my token?
If you don’t update systems that use your API token before December 9, you can expect:
Delayed fulfillment when orders are not retrieved by your system
Increased cancellations from selling out‑of‑stock items due to missed stock updates
Seller rating penalties when shipment updates are not reported
All API requests using the expired token failing with 401 until a new token is inserted and configured
New Insights Segmentation snapshot
Who can use this feature:
You need the Core Pro plan in your Channable subscription to use this feature.
What's changed?
The new Segmentation snapshot in Insights gives you a historical overview of your product performance segments (Stars, Potentials, Underperformers and Invisibles). This is available for Google Ads, Bol ads, and Amazon Ads Insights dashboards.
This allows you to analyze changes over a selected date range, showing fluctuations in metrics like:
Number of items
Ad costs
Conversion value
The dashboard will automatically highlight significant changes in the size of segments (e.g., a major shift in Underperformers or Stars), alerting you to investigate possible effects from dashboard setting changes or campaign performance.
