## Google AI Max available with PPC

October 17, 2025

**Who can use this feature:**

You need the **PPC module** in your [Channable subscription](/account-billing/manage-your-subscription/channables-pricing-plans.md) to use this feature.

### What’s changed?

Google's AI Max for search campaigns is available in Channable:

* This integration with our PPC tool allows you to use your feed data to improve AI-generated ad copy and apply features like Search Term Matching with ad group-level control.
* AI Max isn't a new campaign type, it’s a setting that you can enable and control from your campaigns and ad groups.

### How to use AI Max in your Channable campaigns

{% hint style="warning" %}
We advise you to be careful when experimenting with AI Max at first. Start with a small, controlled test (for example, a non-critical product category or a low-budget campaign) and monitor performance closely before scaling.
{% endhint %}

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Enable AI Max at the campaign level

Go to **Dynamic ads >** **\[your ads channel] > Campaigns** and click the **Campaigns configuration** tab.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Turn on AI Max

Click the **Optimize with AI Max** toggle to turn on AI Max.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
{% endupdate %}

Frequently asked questions

<details>

<summary>Why are you removing Channacademy courses?</summary>

Our older courses are outdated and don’t accurately reflect Channable’s current user experience. Don’t worry — we’re actively working on building better versions with Channable experts.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why can’t I continue to do courses on Channacademy until the 24th?</summary>

Our new academy will use the same domain as Channacademy. This short downtime allows us to thoroughly test the new setup to ensure everything works before launch.

## New feed - Open AI’s ChatGPT Commerce

October 3, 2025

#### What’s changed?

The Open AI ChatGPT Commerce feed is available in Channable! OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Commerce for **US-based Shopify and Etsy stores** in the “coming weeks". This will be an automatic and direct integration.

ChatGPT Commerce includes:

* **Product discovery**: Your products are recommended in ChatGPT and checkout takes place on your website.
* **Instant Checkout**: Customers can buy your products directly in ChatGPT. [Learn more](https://chatgpt.com/merchants).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** Expansion to other stores/platforms/countries is planned but OpenAI’s timeline for this is unknown.
{% endhint %}

#### What can I do?

ChatGPT Commerce is not available to non-Shopify/Etsy stores or in regions outside of the US but **you can start preparing your feed in Channable** (you cannot upload your feed to Open AI yet).

* I have a Shopify store (US only):
  * You can start preparing your feed in Channable. Go to **\[your project] > Channels** and select “ChatGPT Commerce (Open AI)” to start the setup. This setup in Channable includes [OpenAI’s feed specifications](https://developers.openai.com/commerce/specs/feed). This feed can help your products’ performance on ChatGPT.
* I do not have a Shopify store/I’m in another region:
  * You can start preparing your feed in Channable. Go to **\[your project] > Channels** and select “ChatGPT Commerce (Open AI)” to start the setup. This setup in Channable includes [OpenAI’s feed specifications](https://developers.openai.com/commerce/specs/feed).
  * Sign up to be a merchant using Open AI’s [merchant application form](https://chatgpt.com/merchants).

For more information, check out our [Channable OpenAI page](https://get.channable.com/openai-chatgpt-feed-management#how-it-works). As OpenAI shares more details, we’ll keep you updated on how to get your products sold on ChatGPT!

## Amazon V1 channels to be deleted October 27, 2025

**Effective:** October 27, 2025

**Affected:** Users with an active Amazon V1 channel

Summary

* On October 27, 2025, all remaining Amazon V1 channels will be deleted from Channable. This is in response to Amazon’s full deprecation of their API.
* Any updates made from a V1 channel have stopped syncing since Jun 30, 2025.
* If you were still using a V1 channel, we have automatically created a V2 copy to help you update.

Impact

* Any updates made to product listings in Channable from an Amazon V1 channel (e.g. stock information, price, content) have stopped syncing to listings. Order processing hasn’t been affected.
* Listings with inaccurate or incomplete data may have been removed by Amazon.
* Possible missed sales for individuals who didn’t migrate their channel to the latest version.

***

### Description

Amazon's new API (referred to as Amazon V2 in Channable) introduced stricter requirements for product data, making listing more complex but also more robust. The old Amazon V1 API is no longer supported by Amazon as of June 30, 2025, which means channels using it in Channable have stopped syncing data to your product listings.

This means any changes made in Channable using an Amazon V1 channel (e.g., updates to stock, price, or product descriptions) have not been reflected. This may have caused inaccurate or missing product data on Amazon, potentially leading to your listings being removed.

To ensure your listings continue to sync and to protect your sales, we're removing all unsupported V1 channels.

### How to migrate your channel to V2

{% hint style="info" %}
If you had an Amazon V1 channel before October 3, we created a V2 copy of it. This copy has preserved most rules, categories, and attributes so you don’t have to start from scratch.

Important: This version is a copy and is not automatically activated and sending listings to Amazon. Make sure you check the copied version, provide missing information, and run your channel to avoid downtime.
{% endhint %}

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open the new V2 channel

Open the new V2 channel that was created for you and check your setup.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Review the new attribute requirements

The V2 API requires more detailed product information. Check the Quality step and look for any new mandatory fields, as well as fields that are relevant to your products that need to be mapped.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Adjust your rules and categories

Because of the new requirements, you may need to add or update your rules and categories.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Run your channel

Run your channel to start syncing your product data again.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Frequently asked questions

<details>

<summary>Do I need to take action if I already migrated my channel to V2?</summary>

No, if you have an active V2 channel and are no longer using V1, no action is required. The old V1 channel will be removed on October 27, 2025, but this will not affect your V2 channel.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I haven’t migrated and my listings are still live on Amazon. Why do I need to update?</summary>

Amazon regularly checks listings to ensure they comply with requirements. If your listings are still live now, this doesn’t guarantee that they will stay so in the future. To ensure your listings meet Amazon’s requirements and remain active, check, review, and run the V2 copy of your channel we created for you.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why were my listings removed from Amazon?</summary>

This may have happened because your Amazon V1 channel stopped syncing data. If your listings had inaccurate or incomplete information, Amazon's system may have automatically removed them. Activating your new V2 channel and providing the required information will help you restore your listings.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I have an Amazon order connection. Has that been affected?</summary>

No, our order processing system and your existing Amazon order connections are not affected by this change.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I want to save some information from my V1 channel</summary>

If there's any important data or rules you want to save from your old V1 channel, you must do so before October 27, 2025. After this date, the channel will be permanently removed.

</details>
