# Google AI Readiness Audit now available

September 30, 2026

### What's new?

[AI Readiness Audit](/manage-improve-product-data/ai-readiness-score.md) is now available in all Channable CSS and Core plans.

The audit evaluates key Shopping and conversational attributes across your product data and provides:

* A clear **AI Readiness Score** to see how prepared your product data is for AI-powered discovery
* **Attribute-level insights** to highlight missing or incomplete product data, including Google's conversational attributes such as `Question & Answer`, `Related Product`, and `Popularity Rank`.
* Clear **Optimization opportunities** that show where to focus your efforts to strengthen your product data.

The score is recalculated after each run, so you can see how your AI Readiness evolves as you improve your product data.

#### Why the audit matters

Shopping discovery is becoming increasingly conversational. As consumers move towards experiences like Google AI Mode and Gemini, richer product data helps Google understand your products and match them to relevant shopper needs.

With Channable's AI Readiness Audit, you can identify data gaps and use Channable's optimization tools to address them. This helps prepare your products for discovery in Google's AI-powered experiences.

### Turn insights into action

AI Readiness identifies gaps, and Channable gives you tools to address them and build richer product data for Google AI Mode and Gemini.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/changelog/2026/september/google-ai-readiness-audit-now-available.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
