swap-arrowsOctober 3, 2025: Amazon V1 channels to be deleted October 27, 2025

Effective: October 27, 2025

Affected: Users with an active Amazon V1 channel

Summary

  • On October 27, 2025, all remaining Amazon V1 channels will be deleted from Channable. This is in response to Amazon’s full deprecation of their API.

  • Any updates made from a V1 channel have stopped syncing since Jun 30, 2025.

  • If you were still using a V1 channel, we have automatically created a V2 copy to help you update.

Impact

  • Any updates made to product listings in Channable from an Amazon V1 channel (e.g. stock information, price, content) have stopped syncing to listings. Order processing hasn’t been affected.

  • Listings with inaccurate or incomplete data may have been removed by Amazon.

  • Possible missed sales for individuals who didn’t migrate their channel to the latest version.

Description

Amazon's new API (referred to as Amazon V2 in Channable) introduced stricter requirements for product data, making listing more complex but also more robust. The old Amazon V1 API is no longer supported by Amazon as of June 30, 2025, which means channels using it in Channable have stopped syncing data to your product listings.

This means any changes made in Channable using an Amazon V1 channel (e.g., updates to stock, price, or product descriptions) have not been reflected. This may have caused inaccurate or missing product data on Amazon, potentially leading to your listings being removed.

To ensure your listings continue to sync and to protect your sales, we're removing all unsupported V1 channels.

How to migrate your channel to V2

circle-info

If you had an Amazon V1 channel before October 3, we created a V2 copy of it. This copy has preserved most rules, categories, and attributes so you don’t have to start from scratch.

Important: This version is a copy and is not automatically activated and sending listings to Amazon. Make sure you check the copied version, provide missing information, and run your channel to avoid downtime.

1

Open the new V2 channel

Open the new V2 channel that was created for you and check your setup.

2

Review the new attribute requirements

The V2 API requires more detailed product information. Check the Quality step and look for any new mandatory fields, as well as fields that are relevant to your products that need to be mapped.

3

Adjust your rules and categories

Because of the new requirements, you may need to add or update your rules and categories.

4

Run your channel

Run your channel to start syncing your product data again.

Frequently asked questions

chevron-rightDo I need to take action if I already migrated my channel to V2?hashtag

No, if you have an active V2 channel and are no longer using V1, no action is required. The old V1 channel will be removed on October 27, 2025, but this will not affect your V2 channel.

chevron-rightI haven’t migrated and my listings are still live on Amazon. Why do I need to update?hashtag

Amazon regularly checks listings to ensure they comply with requirements. If your listings are still live now, this doesn’t guarantee that they will stay so in the future. To ensure your listings meet Amazon’s requirements and remain active, check, review, and run the V2 copy of your channel we created for you.

chevron-rightWhy were my listings removed from Amazon?hashtag

This may have happened because your Amazon V1 channel stopped syncing data. If your listings had inaccurate or incomplete information, Amazon's system may have automatically removed them. Activating your new V2 channel and providing the required information will help you restore your listings.

chevron-rightI have an Amazon order connection. Has that been affected?hashtag

No, our order processing system and your existing Amazon order connections are not affected by this change.

chevron-rightI want to save some information from my V1 channelhashtag

If there's any important data or rules you want to save from your old V1 channel, you must do so before October 27, 2025. After this date, the channel will be permanently removed.
