Set up Free Listings for Channable CSS
Check eligibility, meet product requirements, and confirm your Free Listings status.
When you create a Google Merchant Center account, Free Listings are usually turned on by default. Your products can appear in Free Listings if they meet Google’s requirements.
Requirements
Your products must be eligible for free listings.
To make products eligible for Free Listings:
Add or review your return policy in your Merchant Center account.
Set up shipping in your Merchant Center account, or provide shipping costs with the shipping attribute where required.
Provide accurate product details by mapping required attributes.
Learn more at Google's Free Listings requirements.
Check Free Listings are enabled
In Google Merchant Center, go to Marketing > Marketing methods.
Ensure Free listings are enabled.
Check your Free Listings status
If you've uploaded product data to Google Merchant Center already, or are pushing product data via a Google Shopping feed or API channel in Channable, your products are likely already appearing as free listing in searches, as long as they meet requirements.
How to confirm
In your Merchant Center account, go to Products > Needs attention and click View history.
You'll see which of your products are eligible for free listings by selecting the product status in the filter Marketing method: Free listings.
If your products are not eligible and you see CSS not selected for this destination, continue with Solve “CSS not selected for this destination” for Free Listings.
