# Using Channable CSS outside the EU

Google’s Comparison Shopping Services (CSS) program gives Shopping Ads a bidding advantage, but only applies in eligible European countries.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** The CSS program is limited to [specific countries](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://support.google.com/css-center/answer/7524491?hl%3Den\&sa=D\&source=docs\&ust=1769946575643527\&usg=AOvVaw2im2w0CppbYEbEcV56JIzZ). It mainly covers the EEA, plus the UK and Switzerland.
{% endhint %}

While you can't get a bidding advantage if you advertise outside the eligible countries, you can still use **Channable CSS** and our optimization tools.

### How this impacts your campaigns

* **Eligible countries:** Shopping Ads can get the CSS bidding advantage when you use Channable CSS
* **Non-eligible countries:** No bidding advantage is applied
* **Setup stays the same:** You keep one Merchant Center account. You keep one CSS partner selection

### Common scenarios

#### You advertise in Europe and outside Europe

Use Channable CSS if you want the bidding advantage in eligible European countries. Your non-European traffic won’t be discounted.

#### You only advertise outside Europe

Switching to a CSS partner usually won’t change your CPCs. You may still choose Channable CSS for consistency across accounts.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important:** If your Merchant Center account isn’t eligible for the CSS program, Google won’t let you switch. You can still use Channable for feeds and campaigns. You just can’t activate the CSS benefit.
{% endhint %}

### What you can still do with Channable CSS

Even when part of your traffic is outside the CSS region, you can still:

* Manage your CSS shops in one place in Channable
* Get product-level performance insights from our Labelizer
* Optimize your product titles for Google Shopping with our Title Optimizer
