# Remove a company from your agency

Learn how to remove a company from your Agency Dashboard or revoke direct access to it.

### Remove steps if Direct access

Follow these steps if you were directly invited to the client's company via your email address.

1. In your **Agency Dashboard**, click the name of the company you want to remove. You can enter their name in the search bar and select from there.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="First Tab" %}
You'll land on the **Projects** page.&#x20;

2. Click **Company settings > Manage access**.
   {% endtab %}

{% tab title="Legacy version" %}
You'll land on the **All projects** page.&#x20;

2. In the sidebar, click **Manage access**.
   {% endtab %}
   {% endtabs %}

3. Check your role type:
   1. If you have the **Owner** role, [contact Support](https://www.channable.com/contact) and request to be deleted from that company.
   2. If you have an **Collaborator** or **Employee** role, you can remove yourself by clicking **Remove yourself**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Employees and Collaborators have different views for this process.
{% endhint %}

### Remove steps if Agency access&#x20;

Follow these steps if the company is connected to your Agency dashboard, and you joined via that generated link.

1. In your **Agency dashboard**, go to the **Connected companies** tab.
2. Find the company you want to remove and click the <i class="fa-link-slash">:link-slash:</i> icon in the **Disconnect company** column.
3. In the pop up, click **Disconnect company**.

The company will no longer appear on your main page in your Agency Dashboard, and no one from your agency should have access to it.&#x20;

If certain users can still see the company, ask them to follow the [**Direct access**](#remove-steps-if-direct-access) instructions to remove themselves from the company.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/get-started/getting-started-agencies/agency-dashboard/remove-a-company-from-your-agency.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
