Campaign template
The campaign template serves as a unique identifier within our tool and should be distinct for each Bol Ads campaign template.
Tip: When naming your campaign template, use a mix of static and dynamic field names to ensure uniqueness. Avoid duplicating names across templates to maintain clear organization.
Countries
Select the countries where your ads will be displayed. You can choose from:
- The Netherlands (NL)
- Belgium (BE)
Targeting channels
Determine the platforms where your ads should be visible. Available options include:
- Mobile
- Tablet
- Desktop
- App
Ad Group targeting pages (automatic campaign only)
Specify the locations on Bol.com where your ads should appear:
- Search: Ads appear in search results.
- Product: Ads appear on product pages.
- Category: Ads appear in specific product categories when browsing the Bol catalog without using a search term.
Daily budget
Set a daily budget for each campaign, based on your advertising goals and the average amount you're willing to spend per day. The maximum amount is deducted from your budget with each click until the daily limit is reached, after which ads will no longer be displayed for the remainder of that particular day The daily limit is automatically reset overnight.
Total budget
Define the total budget for the entire campaign, which represents the maximum amount you wish to spend. This is especially useful for campaigns with a fixed budget. Once the budget limit is reached, the campaign will automatically pause.
ACoS target percentage (automatic campaign only)
When running an automatic campaign, you define the ACoS target, which dictates the percentage of sales revenue you are willing to spend on advertising. This approach is ideal for advertisers who prefer to automate their bidding strategy based on a specific performance goal. Bol will automatically adjust the bids to meet the ACoS target you have set.
Set bids (manual campaign)
In a manual campaign, you have the flexibility to set bids at the keyword level, giving you direct control over how much you are willing to spend for each click. This strategy is beneficial when you want to ensure that your ads appear for the most valuable keywords. Unlike automatic campaigns, where ACoS targets constrain bidding, manual campaigns allow you to specify exact bid amounts, which can be tailored to match your campaign goals.
