Before you categorize your products, you need to select a category field in your project. This is the field in your data import that contains your product categories.
The category field is a project-wide field, so if you modify this field, the AI product categorization algorithm will re-run for all channels that have AI product categorization enabled.
Tip: Select one category field that can be applied to all channels, rather than using different category fields per channel.
Follow these steps to set your project category field:

Go to Categories
Navigate to [Your channel] > Categories.

Click Set Category field
Click Set Category field.

Select the field
At Set category field, select the field containing the value for your categories (e.g. product_category). Channable will automatically suggest the most fitting categories based on your selected field.
