Amazon requires all users to update their API to V2. After April 1, 2025, full functionality for Amazon V1 in Channable is not guaranteed.
Active troubleshooting support for Amazon V1 from Channable ends April 1. To avoid disruptions, migrate to Amazon V2 before June 30* and attempt to resolve potential issues independently before contacting Support.

- Fill in either the External product ID or Merchant Suggested ASIN fields, depending on your use case.
- If you don't want to send price data, ignore the Purchaseable offer field.
Important: The Type value for your External product ID is case sensitive, and must be ean, gtin, or upc. If you have EAN, GTIN, or UPC, you'll need to create a rule to convert it to lowercase.
- Click Save.

Step 4: Test your API
- Navigate to the Preview step and open the ‘Matched items’ tab.
- Click Dry run to check how your listings in Channable match the items in your Amazon account.
Step 5: Activate your API and resolve errors
To give you control over your listings, your original Amazon V1 API remains active until you choose to deactivate it.
- When you’re ready to launch, return to the Settings step and click Activate API.
- Click Run now to send your product listings to Amazon.
- Go to the Result step to check if any products have errors. Click on an error to get an error overview. From here, you can click Go to attribute to be redirected to map the relevant field to resolve it.
- On the Attributes page, click the ‘?’ tooltip to learn more about the accepted values, or click the field and select Static values to view a list of acceptable inputs.
- If you have multiple Amazon APIs, repeat the steps in this article for each API.
Step 6 (optional): Activate the Repricer
This step is applicable if you use our repricer (add-on).
- In [your Amazon API], go to Rules and check the reprice rules that have been automatically migrated.
- Go to the Settings step and click Activate repricer.
- Click Save.
Step 7: Deactivate your old V1 API
At this point, you’ll have two activated APIs - your original Amazon API on V1, and your new API on V2.
We recommend deactivating your V1 API after you’ve resolved your errors in V2. This is because, while your product listings will remain active, running two active APIs simultaneously can slow their performance.
To deactivate your Amazon V1 API:
- In [your original Amazon API], go to the Settings step and click Deactivate API.
