# Data sync

Choose when Channable syncs your product data, such as stock and prices, with third-party platforms.

Data syncs update your product data at scheduled times on third-party platforms. Set your update frequency based on how often your product data changes during the day.

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Who can use this feature

* All **Core Standard** plans include 1 data sync per day.
* **Core Plus** includes up to 3 scheduled runs per day.
* **Core Pro** includes up to 24 scheduled runs per day. This allows you toset up 24 evenly spaced runs for hourly updates.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Open the data sync settings for your project

In Channable, go to **\[your project] > Project settings > Data syncs**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Select your timezone

Under **Timezone**, select the timezone your project is in.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Edit your data sync schedule

1. Choose the first **Data sync** timeslot from the dropdown. By default, this is set to `00:00 - 00:15`.
2. Click **+Add time** to automatically add the next available time slot.
3. \[Optional] Click **Use all available time slots** to automatically add all available time slots.
4. Click **Save**.

{% hint style="info" icon="lightbulb" %}

#### **Tip**

Each time slot lasts 15 minutes, for example from 00:30 to 00:45. Sync your product and stock level data regularly to keep listings accurate.

Larger imports take longer to sync with export channels. Select a schedule that lets each sync finish before the next starts, or some items might not be included in that sync.

{% endstep %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/get-started/getting-started/create-a-new-project/edit-your-project-schedule-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
