IMPORTANT: Your Microsoft Advertising connection might expire after using it for a while. This will result in a 'failed API' with an error message. To refresh your connection, follow the steps in this article.
The first step of this process involves contacting us to enable the Microsoft Advertising feature for you to start setting up your Microsoft Advertising campaigns. Once this is done, you can start with Microsoft Advertising.
1) Text ads page
The first step is to head over to the Text Ads page in the Channable app.
2) Adding the connection
Click on '+Add new dynamic ads generator' and Click 'add new connection'. Select the Microsoft Advertising connection and fill in your Microsoft Advertising account credentials. Usually you can find these IDs in your Microsoft Advertising account under 'settings > account settings'. Make sure to fill in your account ID and not your account number. Your account ID will contain seven or eight numbers such as "12345678".
Note: Always take the ID from the sub-account and not from the managers account.
Then, click the blue 'Connect with Microsoft Advertising' button. This means the connection is added. Now you are ready to start building Microsoft Advertising ads in Channable!
To start sending the ads from Channable to the Microsoft Advertising account, we need to send an invite to the Microsoft Advertising account. Therefore we need to have the account number and not the account ID. An account number consists a combination of numbers and letters. Please send your account number to support@channable.com.
