You can manage your email notification preferences in [Your company] > Company settings > Notification settings. These settings can only be changed by the user themselves on a per-user basis.
Error notifications
We will send an email notification whenever one of the features or orders fails to successfully execute in Channable. The email will include:
- Error details: Information about the error that occurred.
- Possible solution: A suggested solution to resolve the error.
Subscriptions
We offer two types of core subscriptions: core standard and core pro. Here are the key differences between the two options:
Core standard notification settings
If you have a core standard subscription, the type of notification you can receive is as follows:
- Errors and information: We will send an email whenever one of the features or orders fails to successfully execute in Channable.
Core pro notification settings
If you have a Core pro subscription, you can enable or disable notifications and choose from three status options for each notification type:
- Errors and information: We will send an email whenever one of the features or orders fails to successfully execute in Channable.
- Only errors: You will only receive the error itself without a possible solution.
- No notifications: No notifications will be sent.
An additional benefit of the core pro subscription is the ability to set notifications at the project level. You can create project-specific notifications or use your company default settings.
To configure these settings:
- Go to your project in Projects.
- Navigate to Settings > Notification settings.
Notification features by subscription
The table below displays for which features (depending on your subscription) you can receive notifications for.

Safety options
You have the option to set up safety measures in case the number of items in your import changes. These options are configured per-feed basis and are optional. Currently, they are only available for imports and feeds. You can find import safety options by navigating to Setup > Settings > Your import/feed name > Safety.
Different options for 'Action on difference':
- No action: This is the default setting, where there are no notifications for changes in import numbers.
- Send notification: This option will result in email notifications being sent for changes in item numbers. The new number of items will still be imported.
- Block and send notification: With this option, the import will be blocked, and an email notification will be sent for changes in item numbers. The error will persist until the safety block is removed or data is corrected.
If you select 'Send notification' or 'Block and send notification', you can set thresholds to trigger actions based on changes in item numbers.
Threshold options:
- Action on negative difference: Set the percentage to trigger an action when there is a decrease in the number of items in your import.
- Action on positive difference: Set the percentage to trigger an action when there is an increase in the number of items in your import.
