If you have a Lightspeed based webshop, you can import your products in Channable using our app. To do so, follow the steps shown below.
1) Install the Channable app in your Lightspeed App Store
Navigate to the Lightspeed App Store and search for "Channable". You will then see one Channable app as a search result which you can select to install. Lightspeed will ask you for your login details to verify the install.
2) Create your own Channable account
After verification you will be directed to the Channable login screen. Here you can create your Channable account or if you already have an account click on "Already have an account? Go to login!" at the bottom of the screen and login to your Channable account. After logging into your Channable account you will be directed back to your Lightspeed account where several permissions will be asked. Read through them and accept these permissions.
Note: If you are already logged into your Channable account you will automatically be sent to the permissions page.
3) Create a Lightspeed connection
After accepting the permission you will again be redirected to your Channable account. Here, click on the button "Create connection" and you will have created a Lightspeed connection in your Channable account.
4) Add your shop to Channable in a project
Here, you see a list of all your shops. If you are a new user, your shop will not be added here yet. Add your shop in a project by clicking the button "Add new project". You will see a popup where you can enter your webshop's name and URL.
After creating your shop, you will be forwarded directly to the Setup page. Here, click on the "+ Setup import" button and select your Lightspeed connection to create your import with. After selecting the connection you need to choose the language you would like to import and click on the "Continue" button.
Channable automatically reads out all information of your items in Lightspeed and automatically compares them with our internal fields as they are being read (such as price, description, title etc). You can choose a field to "map" with our internal fields or type in your own custom name. You can find more information about mapping fields in this article.
You can also opt to add additional (blank) fields to your feed. These fields can for example be used to later be filled for a specific export channel. Additional fields can be added at any time, see this article for more information. You load all the information into Channable by clicking "Save and import".
5) Check out your items in the overview
Under Items you can find all the items from your shop. Depending on the number of items in your shop, it may take a few seconds until all products are fully loaded. By clicking on an item you can view detailed information about it.
