Beslist is a Dutch marketplace. This article will inform you about two necessary elements of a Beslist connection, namely the feed and the order connection.
General feed setup
Follow these steps to set up your Beslist feed:
- First, create a new Beslist feed by navigating to Feeds > Add new feed and search for 'Beslist'. Now, you need to select your target Country and Type of market.
You can also name the feed. Click on 'Continue' to create the new feed. - Categorizing is not necessary for Beslist. Instead, they want to receive your shop's categories. You can link your category field later on (as explained in step 4) to send your shop's categories to Beslist.
- Create different Rules to optimize your product data. For example, take a look at our common rules support article.
- Link the right fields in the Finalize step.
Tip! For a description of the channel fields, hover over the gray question mark icons with your cursor. Make sure to at least fill in all the mandatory fields, which are blue. For Beslist there are some recommended fields that need to be filled as well. More information on this and other important facts about the set-up are described below:
EAN
Obligatory for electronics, computers & software and household appliances. When there is no EAN available for your products in these categories, it's obligatory to connect a SKU and brand.
Levertijd_nl/be
The shipping time as shown in your webshop. It's very important and obligatory that your products have the shipping time "Niet leverbaar" if they are not in stock or not for saleable.
Modelcode
If there are different colors available for the same product, this code has to be the same for all colors of this product. This modelcode can be used by Beslist to connect these products to each other.
Variantcode
A code that is being shared for all sizes of a product. This is obligatory for shoes and clothing. A variantcode is a combination between the modelcode and the color (see image below). If color is not available, search for another field that is the same for all sizes and therefore can be used to make a variantcode.
Winkelproductcode
Make sure to always connect the field 'id' here.
Product maat (=size)
Obligatory for clothing and shoes.
Voorraad (=stock)
When using Channable orders, make sure that the correct stock field is connected.
Weergave
If a product needs to be visible on Beslist (in stock and saleable), fill this field with '1'. Fill with '0' when the product shouldn't be visible.
Important: When a product is deleted from the feed without being pushed with 'weergave 0' first, the product will remain visible on Beslist. Also see the bold part in 'levertijd_be/nl'. - Check your feed in the Quality and Preview steps. If there are any errors for mandatory fields, solve these first by optimizing your product data with rules and/or connecting the right fields in the Finalize step. Repeat if needed.
-
When your Beslist feed is all setup, activate the feed in the Settings tab of the feed and run it. You will now see a URL in the Preview step. You can copy this URL and send it to your contact person at Beslist for a feed check.
Beslist follows high standards for their feeds, which is why you should not be surprised if you receive feedback after sending your feed. You can tackle their feedback by consulting our help center article about optimizing your feeds based on feedback.
Add an order connection to your Beslist feed
An order connection is required by Beslist for a connection with their platform. An order connection serves multiple purposes. It syncs the orders you receive when your products are ordered with your eCommerce platform and it also provides real stock updates so that when a product is no longer in stock it cannot be ordered via Beslist. Channable orders provide a connection between Beslist and your eCommerce platform through a plugin; you will not need to build a direct connection. You can check out the Channable orders page for more information on the use of Channable's order connection functionality and to check if Channable orders is possible with your eCommerce platform.
The setup of an order connection with Beslist works a bit different, because for Beslist you need to create a new connection with the ShopItem Key, Order Key, Client ID and Shop ID of your API account at Beslist. You can contact your Beslist contact person for this information. When you received this you create a new Beslist connection on the top right under Connections > + Add a new connection, select Beslist in the overview and fill in the ShopItem Key, Order Key, Client ID and Shop ID in the fields pointed out in the screenshot below.
From this point, our technical support department will take over and create the order connection for you. More information about how to request an order connection, can be found in this help center article.
