This article will help you place ads for your items on 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be. These APIs are very similar to the Marktplaats/Admarkt API.
Step 1 - Logout 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be
The first thing to do is go to 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be and log out.
Important: not logging out can cause unexpected problems later in the process.
Step 2 - Add a new connection
You will first need to create a new connection in Channable. To do this go to [your name top right corner] > Connections > Add connection. Click on "+ Add a new connection" and select "2dehands Admarkt / 2ememain" and click "connect with 2dehands / 2ememain".
Step 3 - Login to 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be
Log into 2dehands.be/2ememain.be in the next popup.
In the next screen, you have to give Channable permission to access your 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be account:
After this, you're redirected to Channable and click "Add connection".
Step 4 - Create a new API
Next, you can navigate to your project and go to APIs > Add new API. A new screen will open with the API Settings where you can select the new connection you have made.
Step 5 - Set up the API
Using the freshly made connection, create a new API in the next screen:
The next step is to choose from the drop-down menu a 'unique ID per product'. This is the code that is unique (different) to each individual item. Make sure that the code you choose really is a unique code: otherwise, an error will occur.
To finish up your settings choose a connection status. If you are first setting up your APIs you would choose 'inactive'. When you have finished building your marketplaces and you would like to test them choose 'active- send products paused' and review your ads in your account on the export platform's side. Last but not least if your test has no errors, select 'active-send products live'.
Step 6 - Build your ads
Actually building your ads is very simple and fast. With our preset template, all you have to do is to fill it out by clicking on the field itself and selecting what you would like to go in there. You can do that by clicking on the plus sign on the right-hand side of the field. For instance, the field 'Title' should display the 'Title' of your item and so on. Notice the question mark behind every field, if you hover over the question mark you will see the description of the field and suggestions for possible values. When you have finished setting up the ads, just click 'save' on the bottom of the screen.
Important: 2ehands doesn't support any HTML (yet). Instead of HTML you could use '\n' to create linebreaks.
Step 7 - Attributes: mandatory fields
While you're building your ads, don't forget to fill in the attribute builder! There are 3 fields that are always mandatory to fill in: "Conditie", "Land" and "Taal". If you forget to fill these in your ads will not be shown on 2dehands.be. To fill them in, first go to the Attributes step and click one of your categories:
In the next screen, you'll see at least the 3 mandatory fields in red columns, indicating that you still need to fill them in. If you click the name of the mandatory fields, you can see which values are accepted for that field and type in a value that you want to add for all items. If you want to use a different value for each item, you can add a field as well.
If you add a static text value for a field, this value is added for all categories in the attribute builder. For more information on how to use the attribute builder, see this support article.
Step 8 - Send ads to 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be
Almost there, sending your items does not take long. Go to the API tab, click on settings of your API, then choose 'active - send products paused' (to test) or choose 'active - send products live' so they are visible to everyone. After you have completed this step you can click the 'preview' tab.
Step 9 - Preview
Once you have sent your ads to 2dehands.be / 2ememain.be go to the 'preview' tab. Click filter on 'error'. Now you can see which ads have errors and are not placed.
