Setting up a Carrefour Spain API

• Step 1: Add a new Carrefour Spain connection

Step 1: Add a new Carrefour Spain connection

The Carrefour Spain API uses the Mirakl platform, which means you will need a Mirakl account to start sending your product listings to Carrefour.

1. Once you have a Mirakl Carrefour Spain account, go to Connections > Add connection.
2. Click + Add a new connection and select Carrefour Spain.
3. Fill in the label for your connection, for example, "Carrefour".
4. Click Connect with Carrefour. You will be redirected to the environment where you can log in with your Mirakl-credentials. After logging in, you will be redirected back to Channable where the connection will be available.

Step 2: Create a new Carrefour Spain API in Channable

1. Go [Your project] > API's.
2. Click + Add new API.
3. Select the Carrefour Spain connection you just made.
4. Give your new API a name.

Select the field you want to use for Unique ID per item (we recommend the 'id' field) and the Country you want to sell in. You can also add a master rule group here if you would like. Click on "Continue" to finish creating the new Carrefour Spain API. 

Step 3: Create your product listings in Channable

Once you have created the Carrefour Spain API, you can set up your product data by following the steps of the API.

1. Categories
   For your product listings to be created, your products need a category. Add categories to your products by using the generate categories feature or create new categories from scratch.
   
   
2. Rules
   Create different rules to optimize your product listings. For example, take a look at our common rules support article.
   
   
3. Build
   Here you can find our preset template for the product listings. All you have to do is to fill it out by clicking on the field itself and selecting what you would like to go in there. For example, the field 'Stock' should display the stock of your product, and so on. When you have finished setting up the product listings, just click 'save' at the bottom of the screen.
   
   
   
   Note: Carrefour asks for the Shipping Class (Logistics category) of the products, depending on the weight. You can add the Logistics Category to your products following the specifications on this chart:
   
   

   To add it, create a new field in the import mapping and use a rule to add the shipping class that corresponds to your products, depending on their weight. 
   

   Tip: Hover on the question mark to see the description of the field and suggestions for possible values.

4. Attributes

   Almost done! Next up is filling in the fields in the Attributes step. Select the category you want to optimize first. An example of what should be in front of you now can be seen in the screenshot below. A more detailed explanation of what to do in the Attributes step can be found in our Attributes support article.

GPSR and DSA requirements

The European Union (EU) has introduced new GPSR and DSA requirements for online platforms, including marketplaces.

For your Carrefour Spain API in Channable, make sure to fill in the attributes in the Attributes step (V1 marketplaces) or in the category-specific Attributes per category tab in the Build step (V2 marketplaces):

Step 4: Send your product data to Carrefour

1. If you have not activated your project, go to Your project > Settings and click Activate project. 
2. Go back to the APIs and go to Your Carrefour API Name > Setting.
3. Click Activate API. 
4. Navigate back to the APIs overview and click Run now to send your product listings to Carrefour.

Step 5: Check your product listings for errors

If you have sent your product listings to Carrefour, go to the Preview tab of your Carrefour API. Click filter on 'error'. Now you can see which product listings have errors and are not created.
