A number of API's used by Marketplaces have connections with expiration periods that, if not refreshed in time, can disrupt your API and order connections, leading to a break in the link between Channable and your Marketplace. Moreover, if you notice signs of a faulty connection, refreshing your connection is a good troubleshooting step. Here we explain how to refresh your connections to prevent these issues.

Effects of an expired or faulty connection
When a connection expires, the following issues will occur:
- Items/Ads: Your items and ads will not be updated on the Marketplace, leading to outdated product information and potential sales losses.
- Other changes: Any other modifications made to your product listings will not be reflected on the Marketplace.
- Orders: Orders will be blocked and won't appear in Channable or your webshop, as they rely on the same connection.
When you encounter a faulty connection, similar issues can arise, although they may not be as immediately obvious as those caused by an expired connection. Faulty connections can result in:
- Intermittent updates: Items and ads may update sporadically or not at all, causing inconsistencies in your listings.
- Partial data transfer: Only some changes might get through, leading to incomplete or incorrect product information.
- Order processing issues: Orders might not sync properly, leading to delays or missing orders in your system.
