Yes, you can!
If you have configured your products in your Webshop Platform or in product feeds in multiple languages, you might want to import product information like the title, description and color in these different languages in one project in Channable. Even if you do not have the different language information in one import feed or file, you can still import multiple languages into one project by combining multiple imports.
The first thing you need is a main import, containing all the product information for all of your products (so also the price, images, delivery time, etc.). This can be a direct connection with your Webshop Platform (i.e. Lightspeed, Magento, Shopify, etc.), or a master import feed (i.e. XML, CSV).
The second thing you need is a separate import for the second language. This can be a different storeview (Magento) or language setting (Lightspeed, Shopify) of a Webshop Platform connection, or a separate XML, CSV or Google Spreadsheet to supplement your main import.
With this second import, you only want to import the relevant fields you need in the second language. If your second import is a spreadsheet, you can easily configure this spreadsheet so that it only contains these relevant fields (and a field to combine the import on). Make sure you name the fields uniquely so that they are different from those in your main language (e.g. the 'description' field in your main language, and 'description_nl' in your second language). This is very important since using the same name for a field in both imports will overwrite the value out of the main import with the value you have in the second import.
If your second import is from a Webshop Platform or a full XML feed in a different language, you need to configure this in the mapping of the second import:
You can set all fields you don't need on -do not import-. Rename the fields you DO need, so they are not the same as in the main import (e.g. 'content_nl' and 'description_nl'). Also import a unique field you can combine the imports on, for example 'id' or 'gtin'. At the bottom of the mapping of your second import, select this field for the 'Combine multiple items using field' setting.
Now, your two imports will combine and the information from the fields in your second language import will be added to the products from your main import. In the item overview, this should then look as follows:
