'Verzenden via Bol.com' (VvB) is a new service by Bol, officially launched on 8 March 2021. For more information, see this page on Bol's website. At this moment we only support part of the VvB service.
What we do support in Channable is configuration of the delivery code in your Bol API that indicates that (part of) your products are sold with the VvB service. You can configure 'VVB' as an option for the delivery code in the Build step. If all of your products need to have 'VVB' as delivery code, select 'VVB' under 'static values' in the attribute 'delivery time code'. You can also configure this dynamically if you have a mixed offering. The part 'Dynamic fields' part in this article explains how you can configure the delivery code with a dynamic field.
What we do not support at this moment is a full integration of the VvB order process. The order handling and shipment process (including shipping labels) takes place in Bol. We currently have no way to integrate this into the order connection process or mark the VvB orders automatically as shipped.
We are currently researching the possibilities to develop an integration for the VvB order process. Until then, there are two possible scenarios if you start using VvB:
-
If you have VvB offers only, we advise to disable the shipping updates of your Bol order connection. You then need to handle all orders in Bol, there is no automatic shipment process between your webshop backend and Bol.
-
If you have a mixed offering, you need to make sure you manually handle the VvB orders in the bol.com seller portal before handling it in your webshop backend.
