For ManoMano, Channable offers the option to integrate your products with a Feed. In this article we will guide you through the different steps of creating a ManoMano feed.
Step 1: Create a new ManaMano feed
In order to create a new ManoMano feed you need to navigate to the Feed tab and press the button “Add new feed”. A new screen will appear with all the feed options that we provide. You need to choose ManoMano and then you can continue with the ManoMano feed settings.
Step 2: Settings
Once you have chosen the ManoMano feed you will see this screen:
In this section you can choose the name for your feed and you can apply master rules if you want. You also need to choose your target country and the type of market here.
Step 3: Categories
There are no categories for ManoMano, so there is no need to categorise your products for this feed. You can skip this step.
Step 4: Rules and Finalize
First make sure that these following fields are filled for all your products, since they are always mandatory:
- sku-manufacturer or ean
Tip! If you have any question on what type of information must be sent per field, remember that you can find this information in the Finalize step of the feed, when hovering the mouse over the question mark icon that is at the right of each field.
You will see that there are a lot of mandatory fields for the ManoMano feed that are not included in the above list. This is because not all the fields marked in blue are necessarily mandatory, only under certain conditions. In the table below we’ll go through the special fields in the Finalize step, along with its specifications and indication under what conditions the field is mandatory.
|ParentSKU||A common identification to all products needing to be grouped together. Must differentiate from the SKU. The separate SKUs can be selected through a drop down box.||NO|
|parent_title||Parent title for child SKUs grouped using the field "ParentSKU". Must be completed if the "ParentSKU" field is used.||Only mandatory if you send the field 'ParentSKU'|
|carrier||The carrier name for flat shipping rate||Only mandatory if you do not send the field 'use_grid'|

|Unit_count_type||Unit of measure per unit pricing. You need to choose the right value among the list: kg / cubic meter / liter / meter / square meter / roller / piece.||Only mandatory for ManoMano.de|
You will see several fields in the end of the feed that appear as mandatory but they are not in this table. These are only mandatory if you fulfill any of the conditions. If the condition is true, you need to send the value '1'. For example, the field 'is_fragile' only needs to be filled for fragile products, and should be filled with the value 1 if the product is fragile and 0 or empty if it's not.
Another thing to take into account when sending your catalog to ManoMano are the following requirements for your images:
|Main image||Additional images (image_2; image_3; image_4 and image_5)|
Once you have created all the rules to adjust your product information, you just need to assign the fields on the Finalize step.
Please note that products that are discontinued will still appear in your catalog even though they will be deactivated and offline. That is why it is important that you send the products with stock = 0 before excluiding them of the feed.
Step 5: Preview & Quality
You have already created the feed, so now you just need to check it. In the Preview step you will be able to check the feed and also to obtain the URL that you will have to integrate in your ManoMano account.
In the Quality step, you can check if Channable detects any information of any product that according to the specifications could be problematic. Remember that only the errors on the Mandatory level should cause your feed to not be accepted, so if you have some errors at the Recommended level, you can still upload your listing and it should work correctly. Also remember that for this feed you may obtain an error on the Mandatory level but as explained in step 4, some of the fields marked as mandatory are not actually mandatory so you can ignore those errors.
ManoMano does not process updates very frequent in comparison with other marketplaces:

Take these into account when making modifications on your feed, since this determines when you are going to see your changes applied in your ManoMano account and your product offers.
