You can access the Agency Dashboard with either of the following two user roles: Agency Lead or Marketeer. This article will discuss the differences between these roles.

Locations for applying user permissions
User permissions in Channable are set across three key areas, each impacting access and functionality differently: the Agency Dashboard, the Main company, and individual Client companies.
Difference between Agency roles
Agency roles in Channable, such as Marketeer and Agency Lead, define user access across the Agency Dashboard, the agency’s main company, and client companies. Understanding these roles helps in assigning appropriate permissions. In the table below we'll explain the difference.

Step 1: Inviting others to access your Agency Dashboard
- To invite your team members to the Agency Dashboard, navigate to the Agency Users tab and click on the Invite users button in the top left corner.
- Enter the email address of the team member you wish to invite, select their role (Marketeer or Agency Lead) and click the button Invite user.
- Our system will send an email invitation to their email address with instructions on how to proceed.
- After inviting a team member, they will appear on the Agency User's page once they accept the invitation. If the invitation has not yet been accepted, you can find it in the Pending invites tab.
It's important to note that the person you invite will automatically have access to all your managed companies, so be mindful of whom you invite.

Step 2: Removing users from Agency Dashboard
If someone is leaving your agency, you can remove them from the Agency Dashboard by following these steps.
- Go to the Agency users section.
- Locate the person you want to remove and click the cogwheel icon next to their name.
- Select Remove user from the agency. from the dropdown.
Once these steps are completed, the user will be removed from your Agency Dashboard and will no longer have access to your connected companies.
Step 3: Changing the user role
If someone has received a promotion or your team structure has changed, you can easily change the role of the agency users in the Agency Dashboard to reflect that change. Here's how:
- Head to the Agency Users section at the top of your screen.
- Find the person, whose role you want to change, and click the settings icon next to their name.
- Select Manage role from the dropdown.
