You can have access to the Agency Dashboard with the following two user roles: Agency Lead or Marketeer. In this article, we will discuss the difference between these roles.
There are three places where the user permissions are applied: in the Agency Dashboard space, in the main company and in the client’s company.
In the table below, you can see the difference between Marketeer and Agency Lead:

3 Changing the user role
As an Agency Lead in the Channable Agency Dashboard, you have the ability to manage your team by inviting new members, removing existing team members, and adjusting their user roles.
1 Inviting others to access your Agency Dashboard
- To invite your team members to the Agency Dashboard, navigate to the Agency Users tab and click on the "Invite users" button in the lower right corner.
- Enter the email address of the team member you wish to invite, select their role (Marketer or Agency Lead) and click the button "Invite user".
- Our system will send an email invitation to their email address with instructions on how to proceed.
- After inviting a team member, they will appear on the Agency Users page once they accept the invitation. If the invitation has not yet been accepted, you can find it in the Pending invites tab.
It's important to note that the person you invite will automatically have access to all your managed companies, so be mindful of who you invite. If you want your client to see how you are managing their account, it is best to invite them to their specific company account. For more information on how to do this, refer to this article.
2 Removing users from Agency Dashboard
In case somebody is leaving your agency, you can remove them from the Agency Dashboard by following these steps.
- Go to the Agency users section located at the top of your screen.
- Locate the person you want to remove and click the settings icon next to their name.
- Select "Remove user from the agency." from the dropdown.
- In the pop-up, confirm that you want to delete the user by clicking "Remove user from agency."
Once these steps are completed, the user will be removed from your Agency Dashboard and will no longer have access to your connected companies.
3 Changing the user role
If someone has received a promotion or your team structure has changed, you can easily change the role of the agency users in the Agency Dashboard to reflect that change. Here's how:
- Head to the "Agency Users" section at the top of your screen.
- Find the person, whose role you want to change, and click the settings icon next to their name.
- Pick "Manage role" from the dropdown.
- Choose the new role and hit "Change user role".
