# Import-Felder

Wenn du [Produktdaten importieren](/import-data/import-data-de/readme.md) In Channable, entweder indem du eine E-Commerce-Plattform verbindest oder eine Datenquelle wie eine XML-Datei hochlädst, nutzt Channable die Informationen aus deinem Import, um deine Produktdaten in Channable zu strukturieren.

Wir nennen das „Mapping“. Im Grunde ist das der Prozess, bei dem du dir die Daten ansiehst, die du bereitstellst, und sagst: „Okay, in deiner Quelle nennst du diese Information ‚country‘, aber in Channable nennen wir sie ‚shipping country‘. Genau so erwartet Google Shopping – oder ein anderer Exportkanal – dass sie heißt, wenn wir sie an ihn senden. Also stellen wir sicher, dass wir die von dir bereitgestellten Daten mit dem abgleichen, was der Kanal erhält.“

Mapping macht es Channable möglich, Produktdaten aus verschiedenen Quellen zu verarbeiten und zu standardisieren, sodass du deine Produkte auf jedem unterstützten Kanal auflisten kannst.
