Setting up a Local Inventory Feed for Google Shopping (LIA)

Google Local Inventory Ads (LIA) are used to promote the local inventory of a physical store in the area. If you want more information about what they are and how to use them, please see this link.

How to set up a local inventory feed

  1. Go to Channels and click + Create channel. Search for Google and select 'Google Shopping feed'.

  2. Select the country you want to advertise in.

  3. For Type of market, select Local Product Inventory.

  4. Click Save.

Note: If you do not see the 'Local Product Inventory' market type, it means the country you are trying to advertise in does not support this feature.

After completing this step, you can proceed to configure the feed in the same manner as you would for any other feed setup. Keep an eye on the required and recommended fields in the finalize step for the Local Product Inventory feed as they are different from the other markets. Additional information on the fields can also be found here.
