# Variantfamilies voor productvermeldingen voor bol instellen
Bol stelt je in staat om je varianten in families te groeperen. Bol heeft [enkele vereisten](https://developers.bol.com/deliver-product-variants-families-in-bulk/) voor het aanmaken van families. Om je Bol.com API in Channable zo te configureren dat je varianten als families op Bol.com worden gegroepeerd, volg je onderstaande stappen.

### Controleer je algemene API-instelling
Voor de producten die je wilt groeperen, controleer de volgende zaken in je Bol.com API in Channable:
* De producten moeten dezelfde **categorie** invult in de *Categorieën* stap van je Bol.com API hebben.
* De producten moeten de **zelfde waarde** hebben voor het attribuut 'Merk', 'Auteur' of 'Artiest' in de *Attributen* stap.
* De producten moeten **verschillende waarden** hebben voor hun onderscheidende attribuutwaarden (bijvoorbeeld 'Maat', 'Kleur' of 'Schoenmaat') in de *Attributen* stap.
* Je hebt maximaal 70 productvarianten per family group.

Belangrijk: Je hebt maximaal 70 productvarianten per family group. Als je meer dan 70 producten stuurt, geeft dit geen fout terug, maar Bol.com publiceert niet alle producten.

### Configureer de 'Productvariant ID'
Zodat Bol.com je varianten kan groeperen, hebben ze een 'Family Key' nodig. Deze family key kun je in Channable instellen in de **Bouw** stap in het attribuut **'Productvariant ID'**:
Hier moet je een identificator kiezen die voor alle varianten binnen een familie hetzelfde is. Dit is vaak een veld genaamd `item_group_id` of `parent_id`.

### Stuur je productfamilies naar Bol.com
Na het configureren van het bovenstaande, voer je de Bol.com API uit en controleer je of de families correct zijn ingesteld in je Bol.com verkopersaccount.
