# Setting up a Check24 feed

Check24 is a German price comparison and brokerage platform where customers can directly purchase products from third-party retailers. It hosts millionsof items across categories like electronics, fashion, and home goods.

This guide shows how to create a Check24 feed in Channable, and how to create an order connection to automatically push orders to your eCommerce platform (optional).

***

### <i class="fa-memo-circle-info">:memo-circle-info:</i> Before you start

**You'll need**

* A project with product data imported into Channable
* A Check24 account to receive your feed URL
* Your Check24 FTP user and FTP password if you also want orders

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Create a new Check24 feed

1. Go to **Channels** and click **+ Create channel**.
2. Search for `Check24` and select it.
3. For **Feed name**, give your feed a descriptive name (e.g. 'Check24 NL')
4. Select your **Target country**. To sell in multiple countries, you'll need to create a feed per country.
5. Select the **Type of market** to determine how your items are categorized.
6. Open **Advanced settings** if you want to adjust extra feed settings.
7. Click **Save**.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** The market type you select affects the fields in **Mapping**. If you change it later, make sure you review your [feed mapping](/list-advertise/list-on-channels/set-up-a-feed/update-the-mapping-of-your-feed.md).
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Categorize your products

Match your items to Check24's product categories so Check24 receives the right classification for each item.

1. In **\[your Check24 channel]**, go to the **Categories** step.
2. Map (assign) categories for your items.

You can use [AI categorization](/manage-improve-product-data/categorize-products/create-product-categories/ai-product-categorization.md) to automatically match items to Amazon categories,[ generate categories from a category field](/manage-improve-product-data/categorize-products/create-product-categories/set-the-category-field.md), or [create categories manually](/manage-improve-product-data/categorize-products/create-product-categories/add-categories-manually.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** AI Categorization may not categorize all items automatically, or be completely accurate. We recommend reviewing the AI-suggested categories. Any remaining uncategorized items will need to be manually categorized.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Create rules to improve your data

When your product data is incomplete or it does not match the format Check24 requires, you can use [rules ](/manage-improve-product-data/rules-bulk-edit-and-enrich/rules-in-channable.md)to make improvements. [Create rules ](/manage-improve-product-data/rules-bulk-edit-and-enrich/using-rules.md)to organize and optimize your items and meet Check24's listing requirements.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Map required fields

1. In **\[your Check24 channel]**, go to the **Mapping** step.
2. Go through and map the mandatory fields to a value. You can pull values from a project field, fill in a custom value, or select a supported value (available for some attributes).
3. Review the **Recommended** and **Optional** attributes and map where relevant to improve discoverability.&#x20;
4. When ready, click **Save & run**.&#x20;
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Check your feed quality

The **Quality** step provides recommendations on how to improve your feed. The list of quality checks starts with mandatory issues, which have the highest priority. Not solving these issues may result in your feed being rejected or not showing up in Check24.

For each issue, Channable gives you a suggestion for a solution. To view these suggestions, do the following:

1. In **\[your Check24 channel]**, go to the **Quality** step.
2. Review the issues in the table:
   1. The **Items** column shows the amount of items affected by the issue. Click **View** to see the full list.
   2. The **Fields** column shows the field with the issue.
3. Click on an issue to view more details.&#x20;
4. Follow the solution instructions, and click **Solve** to be directed to the source of the issue.&#x20;
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Preview and activate your feed

Once your feed is ready, you can preview it and then activate it.

If you're still on a Channable trial account, you need to [change your account to a live account](/get-started/channable-free-trial/change-from-a-trial-account-to-a-paid-live-account.md) and activate your project in order to activate your Google Shopping feed.

1. In **\[your Check24 channel]**, go to the **Preview & export** step.
2. Click **Activate feed**.
3. Wait until the feed run finishes.
4. Copy the feed URL.
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Upload your feed URL in Check24

Add the feed URL to your Check24 account.

If needed, send the URL to your Check24 contact person instead.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Add an order connection for Check24 (optional)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/list-advertise/list-on-channels/check24/setting-up-a-check24-feed.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
