# Set up a feed - Preview & export step

Before you send your product data to your chosen channel, you can check it in the **Preview & export** step.

**Note:** You need to activate your feed to access your feed URL. Click **Activate feed** - you may need to [choose a subscription](/account-billing/manage-your-subscription/channables-pricing-plans.md) before you can activate your feed.

Follow these steps to preview your feed:

1. Navigate to **Channels > \[Your feed]**.
2. Go to the **Preview & export** step.
3. Go to the **Overview** tab. Here you can [copy your feed URL](/list-advertise/list-on-channels/feeds-faq/how-do-i-get-the-feed-file-url.md) and paste it in your chosen channel environment e.g. [Google Merchant Center](/list-advertise/google/how-to-add-products-to-google-merchant-center.md) or [Meta Commerce Manager](/list-advertise/meta/meta-commerce-manager-what-to-do-with-your-feed-url.md).

4. To preview your data, click on the **XML/CSV/JSON Preview** tab. It is also possible to download your feed in **XML** or **CSV** format.
