# Set up a Meta Travel Feed

Follow these steps to set up your Meta Travel feed:

1. Navigate to **Channels** and click **+ Create channel**.
2. Search for “Meta Travel" in the search field.
3. Select ‘Meta Travel’.
4. At **Feed name**, add a name for your feed.
5. Select your **Target** **country** and **Type of market**.

**Tip:** The fields you need to fill in the **Mapping** step greatly differ per market. You can later change the market type in the feed settings if you choose the wrong one. If you change the market type, make sure to [update your feed mapping](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011352940-Update-the-mapping-of-an-export-feed).

6. Select the **Type of feed**.

**Note:** Choose a [type of feed](https://helpcenter.channable.com/list-advertise/meta/get-started-with-meta) based on your Meta catalog.

7. Click **Continue** to create the new feed.

6. You don’t need to add categories at the **Categories** step for a Travel feed.
7. Check the field mapping of your product data in **Setup > Import > \[Added import] > Edit mapping**. If you have errors here, you need to create the new fields.
8. When your product data is incomplete or it does not match the format that Meta requires, you need to use [rules in Channable ](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020017900)to make improvements. [Create rules](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012773460) in the **Rules** step to optimize your product data.\
   **Tip:** We have [rule templates](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/25302641950866) to help you improve the quality of your feed.
9. Connect the internal fields to Meta’s fields in the [Mapping step](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010911680). Make sure to fill in all the mandatory fields.\
   **Tip:** Hover over the **? question mark** icons with your cursor for a description of the channel fields.
10. Check your feed in the [Preview & export](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011030759) and [Quality](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011029159) steps. If there are any errors for mandatory fields, solve these by optimizing your data further with rules and/or connecting the right fields in the **Mapping** step.
11. Go to **\[Your feed] > Preview** and click **Activate feed**.
12. Click on the **Run now** button to run your feed.
13. Lastly, you need to [upload your feed](https://helpcenter.channable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013133680) to your catalog in the Meta Commerce Manager.
