# Fulfilled by Marketplace

Channable currently supports fulfillment by marketplaces for Amazon, bol, CDiscount, FNAC Darty Offers, Zalando, and all Mirakl-based channels.

### What is Fulfilled by Marketplace?

When you list on a marketplace and receive an order from a customer, you can fulfill the order in one of two ways:

* **Merchant Fulfillment Network:** You, the seller, ship the order to the customer.
* **Fulfilled by marketplace:** You store your items (or part of your items) stock at the marketplace’s warehouse. Whenever a product is ordered, the marketplace handles the delivery.

### How Channable processes marketplace fulfilled orders

When a marketplace fulfilled order happens, the marketplace has already handled the shipping. Channable's job is to inform your eCommerce platform so your accounting and inventory stay updated.

<details>

Channable creates the order in your eCommerce platform and automatically sets the status to "Shipped." No manual action is required from you.

<summary><strong>For all other platforms</strong></summary>

Channable creates the order in your eCommerce platform with an "Open" status and attaches a Suffix (like `12345-AFN`) to the marketplace order number.

* This suffix helps you identify that you should not ship this item.
* You may need to manually close these orders in your eCommerce platform depending on your internal workflow.

**Important:** If you don’t create a fulfilled by marketplace order connection, fulfilled by marketplace orders will not be imported into Channable by default.
{% endhint %}

### Marketplace naming

Different marketplaces use different names for their fulfillment services. Channable supports the following:

<table data-header-hidden="false" data-header-sticky><thead><tr><th>Marketplace</th><th>Name</th><th>Suffix</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Allegro</td><td>Allegro</td><td>-FBA</td></tr><tr><td>Amazon</td><td>AFN (Amazon Fulfillment Network / FBA)</td><td>-AFN</td></tr><tr><td>Bol</td><td>FBB (Fulfillment by bol)</td><td>-VVB</td></tr><tr><td>CDiscount</td><td>FBC (Fulfillment by CDiscount)</td><td>-FBC</td></tr><tr><td>FNAC Darty Offers</td><td>Fulfilled by Fnac /Darty</td><td>-FBF</td></tr><tr><td>Kaufland</td><td>Kaufland fulfilled</td><td>-FBK</td></tr><tr><td>Walmart</td><td>WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services)</td><td>-WFS</td></tr><tr><td>Zalando</td><td>FBZ (Fulfilment by Zalando)</td><td>-FBZ</td></tr><tr><td>Mirakl channels</td><td>3rd party fulfilled</td><td>-fulfillment_center_code</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Stock updates

Channable does **not** send stock updates to the marketplace for Fulfilled by Marketplace items, since the marketplace already knows how many items are in their warehouse.

When Channable creates an open Fulfilled by Marketplaceorder in your eCommerce platform, if it’s manually set to **Shipped**, your eCommerce platform might wrongly decrease the stock quantity. If you share stock between your warehouse and the marketplace, make sure your eCommerce platform accounts for that.

For more information on how your eCommerce platform processes stock updates, contact their customer service team.

**Tip:** To avoid unexpected stock or shipping behavior, we recommend double-checking how your eCommerce platform processes Fulfilled by Marketplace orders by creating a test order before activating your connection.
