# Repricer simulation

Use the Repricer simulation to preview Buy Box performance, revenue, and product-level pricing opportunities with the repricer.

The Repricer simulation uses real-time marketplace data to estimate how Channable’s Repricer could improve your Buy Box performance and revenue.

We use publicly available marketplace data to analyze your offers and compare them with current Buy Box winners. The simulation doesn't change your live prices or activate the Repricer.

#### Disclaimer

* Simulation results are estimates, not guarantees.
* The simulation doesn't change your live prices.
* Only a sample of your products is displayed.
* The Repricer works within the minimum and maximum prices you configure.
* Winning the Buy Box depends on multiple marketplace factors, not only price.

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-clock">:clock:</i> Buy Box time</summary>

Buy Box time is the percentage of a 24-hour day that your offer held the Buy Box.

The graph compares:

* **Current:** Your actual Buy Box time during the analyzed period.
* **With Repricer**: Your estimated Buy Box time if you use the Repricer.
* **Estimated increase**: The potential improvement in Buy Box time.

More than 80% of marketplace sales go through the Buy Box. Increasing your Buy Box time can therefore help you generate more sales.

</details>

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-trophy">:trophy:</i> Items likely to win the Buy Box</summary>

These are products where your offer is close to the current Buy Box winner and has a high potential to win through repricing.

To identify these products, we compare:

* Your price
* Your delivery time
* Your seller rating

with those of the current Buy Box winner.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only a sample of your products is shown. Activate the Repricer to access the complete list.
{% endhint %}

</details>

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-chart-line">:chart-line:</i> Estimated revenue increase</summary>

This estimates how much your monthly revenue could increase if your offers held the Buy Box more often.

{% hint style="info" %}
This is an estimate based on available marketplace data and doesn't guarantee future revenue.
{% endhint %}

</details>

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-scale-balanced">:scale-balanced:</i> Competitor price gap</summary>

This shows the average difference between your prices and the prices of current Buy Box winners:

* A negative value means your prices are lower on average.
* A positive value means your prices are higher on average.

Price is only one of the factors that influence Buy Box ownership.

</details>

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-tags">:tags:</i> Product-level opportunities</summary>

The product table compares your offer with the current Buy Box winner, including:

* Price
* Delivery time
* The price adjustment the Repricer could make

These adjustments are estimates based on the available competitive data.

</details>

<details>

<summary><i class="fa-medal">:medal:</i> Products that already won the Buy Box</summary>

These products held the Buy Box during the analyzed period without simulation.

For these products, the Repricer may increase the price when competition allows while trying to maintain Buy Box ownership.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/list-advertise/repricer/repricers-in-channable/repricer-simulation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
