**Important:** This feature is currently in **beta**. We recommend starting with a small selection of products (1–5) instead of your full catalog\*.

\
As part of the program, our product team will reach out to gather your feedback on your experience. Any issues you encounter will be handled directly with them and our development team.
{% endhint %}

\*If you’re not sure how to only upload parts of your catalog, or would like to learn more about the beta program, please [contact our Support team](https://www.channable.com/contact).

### **Before you start**

**You’ll need**

* An eBay account
* [An eBay motor subscription](https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/motors-fees?id=4127) (if selling vehicles)

**Good to know**

* eBay Motors only supports fixed-price listings. We currently do not support auction-type listings.
* This channel is **currently only available in the United States**
* eBay charges a fee per product added. Removing and re-adding products with rules, or having significant feed fluctuations, will create new listings and may result in unexpected costs.

  **Note:** Some eBay subscriptions allow you to list a set number of products for a monthly fee.
* We don't clear eBay APIs because this requires listing costs to be paid again.
* If you want to keep your reviews and history for existing eBay listings, we can help. [Contact our Support team](https://www.channable.com/contact) for more information.

### Step 1: Create your eBay motors channel

1. In Channable, go to **Channels**.
2. Search for and select **eBay motors**.
3. Set up your channel settings:
   1. For **Name**, give your channel a descriptive name.
   2. For **Unique ID per item**, select the field containing your product IDs. (This is often ‘id’).
   3. For **eBay country**, this is automatically set for the United States.
   4. For **eBay status**, select the publication level you want:
      * **Verify only:** Use this to test for errors without publishing your listings on eBay.
      * **Publish:** Use this once you’re ready to publish your listings on eBay.
   5. For **Use master rule group (optional)**, add a master rule group or leave this empty.
4. Click **Save**.

### Step 2: Set up your product listings

#### **Categorize your products**

Use **Manual categorization** to assign categories to your vehicles/products. It’s crucial to assign the correct category as some categories charge more for Cost-Per-Click (CPC).

> **Example:** If you’re selling car parts, make sure you assign them the **Parts & Accessories** category instead of the **Car** category, as it charges a higher CPC.

#### **Create rules**

Use rules to optimize your product data. This can include filtering, modifying, or enhancing data fields to meet eBay’s requirements.

**Tip:** Check out our **Rule templates** - these include commonly used rules you can adjust for your use case.

### Step 3: Map shared attributes
