Set up a FNAC Darty offers channel in Channable, connect your Mirakl account, publish offers, and troubleshoot common listing errors.
FNAC Darty is a prominent French retail group that specializes in a wide range of products. FNAC offers cultural and electronic items like books, music, films, video games, and consumer electronics, while Darty focuses on household appliances and consumer electronics.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up a FNAC Darty channel to create and add offers to listings to either FNAC or Darty.
Before you start
You'll need
A Mirakl SSO account

Categorize your products
To set up your product data, assign categories to your products.
AI product categorization: Automatically assigns product categories through our algorithm.
Manual Categorization: Manually assign product categories with custom rules. You can create detailed filters to map each product to the correct category.

Rules setup: Set up rules to refine your product data. This can include filtering, modifying, or enhancing data fields to meet marketplace requirements.
Build your listings
The Build step is where you configure your product listings to match marketplace requirements. It’s an essential step for getting your products live and avoiding errors.
Mandatory and optional fields
Mandatory fields: Required to list your products on this marketplace
Recommended: Recommended to avoid errors and improve performance
Shared attributes
Shared attributes are common fields that apply across your products, such as EAN, prices, and titles.
Use static or dynamic Values
Static values: Fixed values that don’t change (e.g. brand name, manufacturer)
Dynamic values: Fields that automatically change based on the linked data (e.g. stock, prices)
Category-specific attributes
Fields that specifically apply to the category for your products (e.g. size for clothing or dimensions for furniture).
Fill in attributes that are specific to the selected category.
Check the quality of your set up
The Quality step provides feedback on your channel before you activate it. It highlights mandatory and optional errors to ensure your product data meets requirements to list on the marketplace.
Solve errors, prioritizing mandatory errors first.
Actions
View items: See products with specific issues.
View in build: Redirects to the Build step to map missing information.
Set categories: Directs to the Categories step to categorize items.
Show source: Available for ID fields. Directs to the Settings step.
Preview before activating

Filtering:
Filter by error: Click the All dropdown and select if you would like to filter to display only products with errors, or products with a specific error.
Filter by category: Click the All categories dropdown and select the category you want to filter by.
Before you continue:
Review Shared attributes: Ensure all mandatory shared attributes are filled.
Review Category-specific attributes: Ensure all mandatory category-specific attributes are filled.
Check for errors: Correct any red-marked fields.
Best practices for Mirakl marketplaces
In the Build step, some attributes may be mandatory even if they don't seem relevant for your specific situation (e.g. an attribute for adding a Spanish title when you’re only selling in Germany). You can leave these attributes unmapped.
Adding multiple attribute values: Separate multiple values in an attribute with a pipe symbol "|" for proper detection and processing.
Seller's Product ID for single/simple products: There are two attributes called SellerArticleId and SellerProductId. SellerProductId is the Parent ID, while SellerArticleId refers to variant items.
For single products, both SellerArticleId and SellerProductId must be filled with the same value.

Check your listings for errors
Go to the Result step and click on the Feedback tab. This page displays all possible processing errors your product data has at a given moment.
Resolving errors:
Important: Not all errors prevent your products from listing. We recommend following the steps and using your Successful tab as the source of truth.
In Description, click on the error name. This takes you to an overview of the products with that error.
In ID, click the ID number and scroll. You should see a red highlighted callout in the section where the error occurred. Hover over the callout for more information.
If the error is a mapping error, click View in build to be directed to the attribute you need to map/re-map, which is highlighted in blue. For more information about the attribute and its accepted values, hover over the info icon.
Resolve the error and repeat for remaining errors. When you're ready, run your channel again by clicking Run now.
You can check your successfully listed products in the Successful tab.
Note: If you receive the error ERR_026: Product not found, you are trying to add one or more products that aren't currently listed on FNAC Darty. You can only add your offer to existing listings.
Resolving common FNAC/Darty errors
How to fix ‘Cannot create offer’ FNAC/Darty errors
Example errors: ERR_206
FNAC Darty Offers channels in Channable can only send offer data (e.g. price, stock) to EANs that already exist in the Fnac Darty catalog. If you attempt to send an offer for an unrecognized EAN, Channable will not be able to create the offer.
To resolve this, you need to first create the item in your Fnac Darty seller account to attach offer information.
More of a visual learner? Follow Fnac’s step-by-step guides. In your FNAC seller account, go to Aide > Documentation > GESTION DES IMPORTS.

Step 1: Download excel template
Log in to your Catalog marketplaces Fnac Darty seller portal.
Go to Imports > File template.
For Distribution channel, select France or Belgium (based on your use case).
For the target market language(s), select the market you’re targeting (e.g. French in France = fr_FR).
Review the category tree and select the categories in your item catalog.
Scroll up and click Generate a product catalog import file. An excel file will automatically begin downloading.
Step 2: Fill in template
Open the downloaded Excel file in your spreadsheet software.
Review and fill in the sheet:
For each item line, select the category/type from the drop-down menu.
Enter the
SKU,EAN,Manufacturer/seller,Label,Additional descriptionandMain image per item.Provide data for any remaining mandatory attributes for your items, represented as columns in your sheet. (Key: red = mandatory, yellow = recommended, white = optional, grey = not applicable for this category).
If the SKU, EAN, wording and typology are missing, your file will not be imported at all. These mandatory fields can be modified but it is not possible to remove them or leave them empty.
Use the the Criteria tab of your sheet to see what type of data is expected in each column.
Save your completed Excel file.
Step 3: Upload your excel file
In your Catalog marketplaces Fnac Darty seller portal, go to Imports > Catalog import.
Drag the excel file into the ‘Drop and drop files here’ section to upload your completed sheet.
Confirm that the 4 mandatory fields (EAN, SKU, Category = Typology and wording) have been completed in the file you selected.
Step 4: Check the import files status’ history
On the Catalog import page, click History.
Check the Status column to check your import status:
Import in progress: Your uploaded file is being processed.
Invalid format: Your uploaded file format is incorrect. Download the error report to find out what caused this, fix it and import the file again.
Import completed: Your uploaded file has been successfully imported.
Import failed: Your uploaded file contains at least one error. Refer to your error report for advice on how to fix it.
Just like manual creation, successfully imported products will sit in a pending state until Fnac Darty validates them.
Step 5: Activate and run your FNAC Darty offers channel in Channable
Once your products are approved and live in the Fnac Darty catalog, your channel can attach offer information.
In [your FNAC Darty offers channel] in Channable, go to Settings.
Activate your channel if you haven’t already done so.
Click Run now.
Channable will match your EANs to the newly created catalog items and attach your specific price, stock, and shipping data to them.
How to fix ‘Product requires update’ FNAC/Darty errors
Example errors: ERR_111 , ERR_155
If your offer creation fails because a product is marked as unsellable, you must manually update the product data sheet in your FNAC Darty seller portal. Once the marketplace approves the updated data, Channable can resume managing the offer.
More of a visual learner? Follow FNAC’s step-by-step guide. In your FNAC Darty seller account, go to Aide > Documentation > FICHE PRODUIT to view their walkthroughs.

Step 1: Find the product in your Fnac Darty portal
Log in to your Catalog marketplaces Fnac Darty seller portal.
Go to Catalog > Product catalog.
Click on the product you want to update to open the product sheet.
Scroll down to the product attributes under Specification. You should see four attribute groups:
Mandatory attributes
Media attributes
Recommended attributes
Secondary attributes
Check the status of each attribute group:
Valid: all attributes in this group are correct
Invalid: at least one attribute is incorrect
Step 2: Update and resubmit the product data
Click Edit next to the attribute you want to update.
Update the attribute directly in the field.
To update media attributes, upload a new visual. Once the new visual is sent, delete the previous one.
If you change a category attribute, check all other attributes afterward, as required attributes vary by category.
If the attributes originally filled in the product sheet also exist in the new category, they are retained.
Any attributes that do not exist in the new category are lost. The new category attributes will appear empty and must be completed.
Make sure all mandatory attributes are completed accurately to prevent errors.
This modification usually takes the longest to process.
Click Validate to submit your corrections.
Step 3: Resume offer management in Channable
Once your products are approved and live in the Fnac Darty catalog, your channel can attach offer information.
In [your FNAC Darty offers channel] in Channable, go to Settings.
Activate your channel, if you haven’t already done so.
Click Run now.
