# Setting up Mirakl Eco-contributions

France has introduced legislation for eco-participation. If your company is operating in France, you must add eco-contributions to your offers on the marketplace.

An eco-contribution (environmental contribution) is an amount added to the price of a product to compensate for environmental impacts related to its manufacturing, distribution, or disposal.

The eco-contributions need to be set up for the following Mirakl channels:

* Carrefour France
* Conforama
* Decathlon
* Leroy Merlin
* Galeries LaFayette
* Le BHV Marais
* La Redoute

An eco-contribution consists of three parts:

* EPR category code: These can be found here: <https://help.mirakl.net/bundle/sellers/page/topics/Mirakl/mmp/Seller/use\\_seller\\_bo/provide\\_eco\\_contributions.htm>. By default, it's set to use a project field, however these codes are also offered as a static value which can be used for all your offers. A list of possible EPR codes can be found at the bottom of this page: [#connect-fields](#connect-fields "mention")
* Producer ID: A list of identification numbers at state-licensed recycling organizations, in countries where applicable. Producer identifiers must be exactly 15 characters (alphanumeric and underscore only) for French categories and 255 characters maximum for non-French categories.
* Amount: The eco-contribution amount in the offer currency.

### Add an eco-contribution in Channable

In the Build section of the API, click the +Eco-contribution button to add an eco-contribution.

### Connect fields

After adding the eco-contribution, connect dynamic fields to each of the required parts (EPR category code, Producer ID, Amount).
