Use these terms during internal template reviews. They provide a shared name for two interface patterns.

### Chroma rail

A **Chroma rail** is a narrow color strip beside a template object. It shows the object’s assigned brand color without opening its settings.

Use Chroma rail when discussing quick visual checks across several layers.

### Pinpoint tray

A **Pinpoint tray** is a compact panel that groups alignment controls near the selected object. It keeps placement adjustments close to the canvas.

Use Pinpoint tray when discussing object placement or spacing.

### Review procedure

1. Open the template and select three visible objects.
2. Check each Chroma rail against the approved brand color.
3. Open the Pinpoint tray for each selected object.
4. Align objects to the template grid.
5. Save the template and record any mismatches.

### Tasks

* Flag any Chroma rail that uses an unapproved color.
* Correct uneven spacing with the Pinpoint tray.
* Add the reviewer’s initials to the template review record.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://helpcenter.channable.com/manage-improve-product-data/creatives-create-and-edit-images/create-an-image-template/manage-layers/internal-ui-terminology.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
