What is AI generated text?

AI generated text helps you generate missing product text in Optimize.

AI generated text helps you:

• Create or improve product titles and descriptions in bulk.
• Use product data to create more complete listing text.
• Generate text in your selected output language.

How AI generated text works

Channable uses text fields from your import and your prompt to generate titles, descriptions, or free text. You can generate text for many items in one workflow.

Examples: Generate product titles

Generate a missing title

A channel requires a product title. A product description field contains Red cotton T-shirt, but the title field is empty.

Our AI text generation feature searches the description, brand, color, and size fields. It generates a product title and saves the result in a project field.

Optimize an existing title

You could set your generator to optimize a title using data from your description field. For example, it can change Urban Explorer Cargo Joggers to Men’s Urban Cargo Joggers - Durable Streetwear & Casual Pants.

What type of text can I generate?

You can generate the following text types and use cases:

• Titles: Fill missing titles or enrich existing titles with product details.
• Descriptions: Create missing descriptions or rewrite existing descriptions using product data.
• Free text: Create text for a specific project field, then use it in a channel.
• Channel-ready text: Request a maximum character count or a specific writing style.
• Translated text: Generate titles, descriptions, or free text in your selected output language.

Note

Each piece of text is generated from your exiting import data, and any prompts you provide. It does not scrape websites or read images. You can also select an outpul language for translated results.

Where does AI generated text run?

Channable first imports your data. After that, you set up text generation in Optimize. You select imported text fields, filter the items, and apply a prompt. After you approve the generated values, Channable saves them in your selected project field.

You can then use the approved text across your project, including in your channels.
