La Redoute offers a wide range of products in categories such as fashion and home decor, their API is a Mirakl-based platform.
Step 1: Add a new La Redoute connection
- Mirakl account: Ensure you have a Mirakl La Redoute account.
- Navigate to connections: Go to "Connections > Add connection".
- Add connection: Click on "+ Add a new connection" and select La Redoute.
- Label and connect: Fill in the label for your connection, for example, La Redoute. Click on "Connect with La Redoute".

Log in: You will be redirected to the environment where you can log in with your Mirakl credentials. After logging in, you will be redirected back to Channable, where the connection will be available.
Step 2: Add a new La Redoute API in Channable
- API overview: Go to the API's overview in your project.
- Create API: Click on 'Add new API', select the La Redoute connection you just made, and give your new API a name.
- Unique ID and language: Select the field for Unique ID per item (we recommend the 'id' field) and the language for categories (currently French and English: GB are available).
- Finalize: Click on "Continue" to finish creating the new La Redoute API.
Step 3: Create your product listings in Channable
- Categories: Add categories to your products using the generate categories feature or create new categories.
- Rules: Create rules to optimize your product data. Refer to the common rules support article for examples.

Build: Use the preset template for product listings. Fill out the fields (e.g., 'Price'). Click 'Save' when done.
- Tip: Hover over the question mark behind each field for descriptions and suggestions.
- Attributes: Fill in the fields in the Attributes step. Follow the detailed instructions in the Attributes support article.
Mandatory attributes for La Redoute
- EAN codes
- Title
- Description
- Stock
- VAT rate: The VAT rate is mandatory for La Redoute and must be filled in the value must be 20 / or 5,5 for food)
The above attributes are mandatory. Make sure these match the requirements of the platform, otherwise, no product listings can be created for your products.
Additional requirements for La Redoute
- Shipping class: The logistic classes for La Redoute can be found as static values under the “Shipping class” field. The Shipping classes are configured for each seller with your Onboarding Manager of La Redoute.
- Private Copy Tax: In France, the private copying tax is a legal requirement that compensates authors and rights holders for private copies made using blank media such as CDs, DVDs, external hard drives, and USB drives. Sellers are required to specify the amount of the ''copie-privée'' levy in euros for each applicable item.
- Eco-contributions: France introduced legislation for eco-participation. If your company is operating in France, your company must add eco-contributions to your offers on the marketplace. Refer to the list of available EPR categories in this article.
Best practices
Adding multiple attribute values: when adding multiple values in an attribute field for Mirakl Marketplaces, separate each value with a pipe symbol "|" to ensure proper detection and processing.
Seller's Product ID for Single/simple products: Please note that there are two attributes named 'SellerArticleId' and 'SellerProductId,' respectively. 'SellerProductId' refers to the Parent ID, while 'SellerArticleId' refers to the variant items. For single products, both attributes must be filled with the same value.

Step 4: Send your product data to La Redoute
- Activate project: If not already done, go to Settings > Project settings and click 'activate project'.
- Activate API: Go to "Your La Redoute API Name" > Settings and select "Activate API".
- Run API: Navigate back to the APIs overview and select the blue "Run now" button to send your product listings to La Redoute.
Step 5: Check your product listings for errors
- Preview tab: Go to the Preview tab of your La Redoute API.
- Filter errors: Click filter on 'error' to see product listings with errors.
