# Project settings

Manage your project's name, status, and schedule settings.

You can find **Project settings** in the sidebar of your project. In it, you can check:

* Project settings
* Schedule settings
* Notification settings

### **Project settings**

In the Project settings tab, you can find your **Project ID**, **Project name**, and **Status**.

* **Project ID:** The unique ID for your project. This can't be changed. Useful if you want to direct Support to a specific project.
* **Project name:** The name your project appears as in your **Projects** overview. To change it, alter the name in the textbox and click **Save**.

We recommend including your data source and language of the items in the name to make it easier to identify later (for example, `Shopify - EN`)

* **Status:** Indicates whether your project is active.
  * :yellow\_circle: **Yellow: Inactive / not live**\
    Anything used to import or export data won't update automatically each day. You won't be charged for inactive projects and items in it don't count toward your [monthly subscription](/account-billing/manage-your-subscription/manage-your-channable-subscription.md).
  * :blue\_circle: **Blue: Active / live**\
    The import will run daily at time set in your **Schedule settings**. All active projects and their corresponding items will count towards your [monthly subscription](/account-billing/manage-your-subscription/manage-your-channable-subscription.md).
