Google Analytics can be used to track conversion rates across all your different channels. With the Channable integration you can filter items based on their performance to get insights on which channels are most suitable for your items.
You can connect your Google Analytics account to Channable in 8 easy steps.
1 Make a copy of a view
First, open Google Analytics, open your project and click "Admin" in the top navigation bar. Now navigate to "View", open a view (if you have more than one, open the most basic view), click "View settings" and click "copy view". You are going to use this copied view for Channable only.
2 Go to the filters screen
3 Remove filters in the view
If there are filters in the copied view, you will have to remove them all. Filters can change or block the data on its way to your Channable account. You can leave the filters in your other Analytics view(s) intact. Remove all filters in your copied view and then go to "View Settings".
4 Copy the "View ID"
Copy or write down the "View ID" that is shown in the "View Settings" of your copied view.
5 Open Channable and connect to Google
To activate Google Analytics for your account, log in on the Channable platform and open a project. Go to "Setup > Setup import > Setup Analytics to view Analytics settings.
Click on "Add new connection" and select Google Analytics. You can label the connection by giving it a name. Add the Google Analytics View ID you previously wrote down. Click "Connect with Google Analytics" to finalize this step.
6 Allow connection in Google Analytics
Click "Accept" to allow connection between Channable and Google Analytics. After accepting this form, you are automatically redirected to Channable.
