Set up a Criteo feed
Learn how to set up a Criteo feed in Channable, configure the right market settings, map required fields, and upload the feed URL to your Criteo account.
Follow these steps to set up your Criteo feed:
Navigate to Channels and click + Create channel.
Search for “Criteo" in the search field and select it.

Next, fill in your Feed name.
Select your Target country from the dropdown.
Select the Type of market, which is the specific category or sector of the retail market for your products.
Tip: The fields you need to fill in the Mapping step greatly differ per market. You can later change the market type in the feed settings if you choose the wrong one. If you change the market type, make sure to update your feed mapping.
Click on Advanced settings to edit more settings for your feed.
Once you have completed your feed settings, click Save.

Set up the Categories for your products by using the generate categories feature or by creating new categories.
When your product data is incomplete or does not match the format that Criteo requires, use rules in Channable to make improvements. Create rules in the Rules step to optimize your product data.
Link the right fields in the Mapping step.
Tip: For a description of the channel fields, hover over the gray question mark icons with your cursor. Make sure to at least fill in all the mandatory fields, which are blue.
Check your feed in the Quality step. If there are any errors for mandatory fields, solve these first by optimizing your product data with rules and/or connecting the right fields in the Mapping step. Repeat if needed.
Tip: Learn how to solve common issues.
Once your feed is setup, go to the Preview & export step.
Click Activate feed.
After the activated feed has run, you can preview your feed and access the feed URL. Here you can preview how your products will appear in the feed and you can copy the feed URL to add to Criteo.
