Good to know

  • Switching CSS: If you already use another CSS, Google may apply a 14‑day grace period depending on the CSS provider’s settings.

    • During this period, your Shopping ads keep running under the current CSS while all users with access to the Merchant Center account are informed about the upcoming switch.

CSS pricing

  • The cost for a CSS shop is €29 per shop, regardless of the number of countries you are selling in. Usually 1 shop = 1 Google Merchant Center ID. Learn more about CSS pricing.

  • Standalone or Multi-Client Account (MCA): Navigate to: Settings > General > Account setup > Comparison Shopping Services

  • Sub-Account of an MCA: Navigate to: Settings (gear icon top right) > General Account options > Account setup.
