circle-exclamation

For Spartoo, Channable offers the option to integrate your products with a Feed. In this article, we will guide you through the different steps of creating a Spartoo feed.

Step 1: Create a new Spartoo feed

In order to create a new Spartoo feed, go to Channels and click +Create channel. Search for and select 'Spartoo'.

Step 2: Settings

Once you have chosen the Spartoo feed, you will see this screen:

In this section you can choose the name for your feed, and you can apply master rules if you want. You also need to configure these two specific parameters:

  • Country: Choose in here the country you want to create the product listing for.

  • Type of market: In here you have 2 possible options. The Standard market is to create a listing for just 1 country. If you choose the Multi Country option instead, you will be able to create a listing for up to 3 different countries within the same feed.

Step 3: Categories

Assign all your products to Spartoo categories. If you’re not sure on how categories are created, you can check this support article that explains all about it.

Step 4: Rules and Mapping

Spartoo has certain specifications when it comes to attributes like size, color, or material.

We’ll go through the special fields in the Mapping step, along with its specifications and some tips of rules that might be helpful for setting up the correct values.

product_sex

You can use the rule “ replace value” or " search for value" to change the values of gender to the single letter code

You can see the explanation of what an internal field is here.

reference_partenaire

The SKU of a product at the 'color' level (should be unique to this item). Each item should cover all sizes of a certain product in a certain color. If you have multiple sizes for the product of the same color, you will need to group them and send them as just 1 product. If you do not have variants, you can use your normal item sku or id here. If you have variants, here you will probably have to use your item_group_id or parent_sku.

Use the rule “ group items” at the parent_id level so all the variants will become just one product. Remember to combine all the fields of which you want to keep the different values, like for example, the stock.

size

If you do not have the additional images in a list but as plain text, you can use the rule " split text to list”. If you have your additional images in different fields, you can use the rule " combine value" to put them all in one field (separated with a ';' for example), and then split the text to a list.

color_id

Color id of the color. Please view our Help Center for a list of possible values.

See this pagearrow-up-right for all the possible values. You can use the rule “ replace value” or " search for value in order to make rules that replaces the color value with the color id number.

Once you have created all the rules to adjust your product information, you just need to assign the fields on the Mappingstep. Remember that all blue fields are mandatory, the orange ones are recommended but should not create an error if you don’t send them, and finally the optional fields are those in gray.

Step 5: Quality & Preview

In the Quality step of the Channable feed setup, you can check for any issues in your product data that may affect listing compliance. Errors identified as mandatory must be corrected to ensure your feed is accepted. However, errors marked as recommended can be overridden, allowing the feed to be uploaded despite these minor issues.

After creating the feed, you can preview it in the Preview step. Here, you'll also be able to obtain the URL needed to integrate the feed into your Spartoo account. This URL will only be available after you activate and run the feed.
