### What do the statistics mean?

#### Buy box time percentage

This refers to the percentage of time your offer had the buy box on a given day (24 hours). So if your offer had the buy box for 12 hours, the buy box time percentage would be 50%.

Because most sales (80-95%) go through the buy box, increasing buy box uptime is essential to securing more sales. One way to increase the time your products have the buy box is making sure your price is competitive and our repricer can help you with this.

#### Products with high buy box potential

Marketplaces use a secret algorithm to decide which offers get the buy box, so we cannot predict if products will win the buy box. But we do know that **price**, **delivery time** and **rating** are important factors in this algorithm. We compared the difference between your offer and the buy box winner on these factors, to indicate what products have a higher potential to win the buy box. These products are good candidates to optimize, by using a repricer to make sure the price is competitive.

For example, an offer with the same delivery time, a slightly lower rating, and a slightly higher price is considered a 'high buy box potential' product.

#### Buy box time percentage distribution

This graph shows the distribution of buy box time within your products. The x-axis shows the buy box time ranges in steps of 10%. The y-axis shows the number of products that fit within that range. This gives more context to the 'buy box time’ graph and shows where there’s room for improvement. Specifically, the distribution helps you determine how much of your offer catalog is under-performing.

In the example below, there are 591 products with a buy box time percentage between 90 and 100%.

#### Products with the buy box

This graph shows how many of your offers had the buy box on a certain day.

### How are we getting this data?

We based our analysis on the publicly available offer data for the products you're selling. We check which offer has the buy box and compare your offer to that of your competitors. We collect the data for 14 days and then show the report in Channable for 28 days.
