With the "slice list" rule you can easily separate the elements of a list and put them in a separate field. For example, say you have a list of images for every product (as is shown in the screenshot below) and you need to put every image in its own field.
To separate the additional images into their own fields, you can set up a slice list rule as is shown in the screenshot below.
