How to set up a Sprinter channel
Sprinter is a Spanish sports retailer specializing in sporting goods such as shoes, clothes, and accessories.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up a Sprinter channel to create, update and manage your Sprinter listings in Channable.
Before you start

Sprinter uses the Mirakl platform
Sprinter uses two sales channels: Spain (ES) and Portugal (PT)
To sell in both Spain and Portugal, submit specific prices for Spain and Portugal.
To only sell in one channel (e.g. Spain), ignore the fields for the other channel
Some attributes may be mandatory even if they don't seem relevant for your specific situation (e.g. an attribute for adding a Spanish title when you’re only selling in Germany). You can leave these attributes unmapped.
Step 1: Create a Sprinter channel
In Channable, go to Projects > [Your project] > Channels.
In the search bar, enter “Sprinter” and select Sprinter.
Note: If it doesn’t appear, click Clear to reset your filters.
Set your channel settings:
For Name, give your channel a name.
For Unique ID per item, select a field containing your products EAN codes (e.g.
ean,id)For Language, choose the language your product data is in.
For Use master rule group, you can set a rule group if you already have one to apply to your channel.
For Status, leave your API deactivated for now.
Click Save.
Step 2: Create product listings
Follow these sub-steps to set up your channel.
Categorize your products
Set up your product data by assigning categories to your products.
Smart Categorization: Automatically assigns product categories using our algorithm.
Manual Categorization: Manually assign product categories with custom rules. You can create detailed filters to map each product to their correct category.
Uncategorized Items: Products that still need to be reviewed and categorized.
Set up rules
Rules help you quickly optimize your product data for your target marketplace.
Rule templates: Commonly used rules you can adjust and customize for your needs.
Rules setup: Set up rules to refine your product data. With rules, you can filter, modify, and/or enhance data fields to meet marketplace requirements.
Build your listings
Important: Some attributes may be mandatory even if they don't seem relevant for your specific situation (e.g. an attribute for adding a Spanish title when you’re only selling in Germany). You can leave these attributes unmapped.
The Build step is where you configure your product listings to match marketplace requirements. It’s an essential step for getting your products live and avoiding errors.

Shared attributes
Shared attributes are the common fields that apply across your products, such as EAN, prices, and titles. Mapping your shared attributes ensures uniform and consistent product information across your listings.
Use static or dynamic values:
Static values: Fixed values that don’t change (e.g. brand name, manufacturer).
Dynamic values: Fields that automatically update based on the linked data (e.g. stock, prices).
Category-specific attributes
Category-specific attributes are fields that specifically apply to your product's categories. This step helps fine-tune your listings to meet category requirements for your marketplace.
Fill in attributes that are specific to the selected category (e.g. size for clothing or dimensions for furniture).
Tip: Click Auto-map fields to automatically map using information using information from your other channels or other similar setups. Learn more.
Best practices for Mirakl marketplaces
Adding multiple attribute values: Separate multiple values in an attribute with a pipe symbol "|" for proper detection and processing.
Seller's Product ID for single/simple products: There are two attributes called SellerArticleId and SellerProductId. SellerProductId is the Parent ID, while SellerArticleId refers to variant items.
For single products, both SellerArticleId and SellerProductId must be filled with the same value.

Check the quality of your setup
The Quality step provides feedback on your channel before you activate it. It highlights mandatory and optional errors to ensure your product data meets requirements to list on the marketplace.
Solve errors, prioritizing mandatory errors first.
Actions:
View items: See products with specific issues.
View in build: Redirects to the Build step to map missing information.
Set categories: Directs to the Categories step to categorize items.
Show source: Available for ID fields. Directs to the Settings step.
Preview before activating
The Preview step displays the attributes you mapped in the Build step, helping you check if everything is configured correctly by providing an overview of your products and potential errors.
Filtering:
Filter by error: Click the All dropdown and select if you would like to filter to display only products with errors, or products with a specific error.
Filter by category: Click the All categories dropdown and select the category you want to filter by.

Before you continue:
Review Shared attributes: Ensure all mandatory shared attributes are filled.
Review Category-specific attributes: Ensure all mandatory category-specific attributes are filled.
Check for errors: Correct any red-marked fields.
Additional requirements for Sprinter
Meet GPSR and DSA requirements
The European Union (EU) has introduced new GPSR and DSA requirements for online platforms, including Sprinter.
To comply with these requirements, you’ll need to provide information for (at least) the Manufacturer and Economic Operator attributes listed under the General Product Safety Information section in the Build step.
Listing in Sprinter Spain and/or Portugal
Sprinter uses two sales channels: Spain (ES) and Portugal (PT)

To only sell in one channel (e.g. Spain), ignore the fields for the other channel
Step 3: Connect to Sprinter via Mirakl
To send your listings to Sprinter, you need to connect your channel to your Mirakl Connect account.
Important: Nothing will change by linking your account - any existing listings stay exactly the same until you activate.
Log in to your Mirakl connect account.
In [your Sprinter channel], go to Settings.
At Linked seller account, click Select seller account.
Select an existing seller account, or click + Add new connection to add a new seller account.
If adding a new seller account:
For Label: Name your seller account connection. This is only used to identify your connection within Channable.
Click Connect with Sprinter.
You’ll be redirected to Mirakl to log in to your account. This is to authenticate your connection to ensure Channable can list products for you.
After successfully logging in, your connection will be ready, and you will be navigated back to your channel.
Step 4: Activate your channel
Once your product listings are ready, you can send them to Sprinter:
Select the Settings step in [your Sprinter channel] and click Activate API.
Click Save.
Click Run now to send your product listings to Sprinter.
Step 5: Review and fix listing errors
Go to the Result step and click on the Feedback tab. This page displays all possible processing errors your product data has at a given moment.
Resolving errors:
In Description, click on the error name. This takes you to an overview of the products with that error.
In ID, click the ID number and scroll. You should see a red highlighted callout in the section where the error occurred. Hover over the callout for more information.
If the error is a mapping error, click View in build to be directed to the attribute you need to map/re-map, which is highlighted in blue.

Resolve the error.
Common Errors and Solutions
mirakl_unknown_error_code
This error signifies a group of errors that typically occur when Mirakl can’t identify a product’s EAN in the Mirakl database. This means the product is either new to Mirakl, or missing attributes it needs to be recognized as a product.
Solution:
Check your categories: In the Categories step, check that your product categories are correctly matched. If they're not, take a moment to map them accurately. For detailed instructions on this process, refer to our article on mapping categories.
Check your mapping: In the Build step, check your mapped fields and correct anything that looks incorrectly mapped. You can use rules to create and populate new fields.
Once you’ve checked both your categories and mapped attributes, click Run now to run your channel again.
