There are many reasons why you might want to unpublish or delete all your products and information you've sent through your API in Channable. You might have sent the wrong information, or you may wish to stop selling on that particular platform. Whatever the reason, clearing an API is a straightforward process.
Key points to remember when clearing the API
- Automatic removal of product listings: Clearing the API will delete all product listings from the marketplace. However, you won’t need to set up the API in Channable again. All your settings, such as categories, rules, and attributes, will remain intact. The same applies to seller or product reviews, as they are tied to your Seller ID or EANs.
- Manual re-run needed: After clearing the API, remember to press the Run now button to resend your items to the platform. The data will also be sent automatically during your project’s daily runs.
- Marketplace processing time: Be aware that we have no control over the marketplace’s processing time. How quickly data is removed or updated is highly dependent on their system.
- API scope limitations: The Clear API functionality can only remove items that were sent through the API. Products added manually or through other channels cannot be deleted via this API.
Clearing the API
Follow these steps to easily clear all the information sent through an API:

Go to the Settings step of your API, and click on the gear symbol in the top right corner.

Select Clear API to remove all the information sent through that API.
If you no longer wish to use this API at all, you can also delete an API by following the steps explained in this article.
