This article dives into specific fields of the Build step of the TikTok Shops API. The article about setting up the TikTok Shops API can be found here.
TikTok Build-step: Notable Fields
Warehouse Name
This field contains the name of a warehouse that you've registered by going to My Account > Account Settings > Warehouse Settings and adding the warehouse from which the product will be shipped. The information needed is the name under 'Warehouse Name/code'.
After creating a new warehouse, copy the Warehouse name (not the ID) to the field ‘Warehouse name’ in Channable. Do you use multiple warehouses? Then we recommend you to create a new project field and use our rules to divide your products across these warehouses.
Size Chart ID
Size charts are required for certain items (mainly fashion). These can be created in your TikTok Seller Center by going to Seller Center > Products > Bulk Actions > Batch Manage Size Charts.
On the template management screen, you can create a new size chart with the button. Once the size chart has been created, it will appear in the list of size charts. The ID below the title is the size chart ID which should be included in the feed for an item. This will tell Channable that the size chart associated with the ID on TikTok shops is the size chart for the item in your API.
Package dimensions
These are required to be filled in through the API. However, TikTok only uses these dimensions to estimate how much warehouse space will be occupied if a client makes use of 'Fulfillment by TikTok'. If you do not make use of this fulfillment option, you can therefore fill in any placeholder value as long as it’s not zero.
