How do I fill in the Zalando SizeChart attributes in Channable?

Zalando Size Chart (SizeChart) attribute

Zalando has a mandatory attribute called the Size Chart. This attribute consists of two parts: a value for the size code and a value for the size group. For certain product categories these are then split into the “size” and the “length” attributes.

To fill these attributes you need:

• the sizes you use for the product, and

• the relevant size chart code from Zalando.

Zalando may also enable certain chart codes for your account based on the data submitted during the brand readiness phase.

Zalando displays the size guide to customers on product pages. Example:

Fill in SizeChart attributes

By sending your product size together with the size chart, Zalando can translate the size across regions. For example, a shoe with EU size 40 can be translated to FR 40, IT 40, UK 6.5, and US 9 if the correct size chart is provided.

How to map values in Channable:

• Use the “Supplier size” value from the Zalando Size Chart tool (highlighted in orange in the tool) and place it in the size_code column in the Channable attribute step.

• Use the Size Chart code (the code shown in blue in the tool) and place it in the size_group column.

Make sure the description of the chart code matches the product you want to send. The product’s size and other relevant sizing fields (on the product’s sizing tab) are important for selecting the correct size chart values so customers receive accurate information.

The Length attribute works the same way but applies only when a product has two separate size dimensions. For example, bras have both a cup size and a circumference size. These are represented separately in the Size and Length attributes and must be filled in separately.

The Size finder in Zalando’s tool also provides a short description for each chart code so you can verify whether it is the correct group code for your products.

The size chart information is required in your import before you can complete the Zalando setup. Because these values are managed by Zalando, we recommend contacting your Zalando integration manager to confirm which size chart codes have been enabled for your account.
