How to set up a supplementary feed in Meta

In Meta Commerce Manager, you can add a supplementary feed to your catalog to enrich your existing feed with additional data. Create a feed in Channable so that you can connect it to your supplementary feed in Meta. 

Follow these steps to add a supplementary feed in Meta Commerce Manager: 

1. Go to Meta Commerce Manager.
2. Go to Catalog > Data Sources in the navigation menu.
3. At ‘Supplementary feeds’, click on Add Supplementary feed.
   
   
4. At Select data feeds to link to, select the data feed that you want to add more data to. 
5. Select Use a URL or Google Sheets and copy and paste your Meta feed URL from Channable, which can be found in the Preview step of the feed setup. 
6. Add a name for your feed.
7. Select a default currency.
   
   Note: In Channable, we add the currency by default to all the prices in your feed, so the option you select here does not impact your feed. 
8. Set how often the feed will refresh at Data feed schedule.
   
   Note: Make sure the scheduled time follows your Channable schedule settings closely. 
9. At the Primary feed(s) being supplemented dropdown, make sure that the correct primary feed is selected.
10. Click on Upload.
    
    

Your supplementary Meta feed from Channable is connected, and the data in your primary feed is updated in Meta Commerce Manager. You can check this in Catalog > Items.
