Verzenden via Bol.com' (VvB) is a shipping service offered by Bol.com. For more details, please refer to Bol’s official page on VvB. Currently, Channable supports part of the VvB service, which includes the following:
Supported features in Channable
-
Configuring the delivery promise
Channable supports configuring the delivery promise for products sold through the VvB service. You can set this up in the Build step of your Bol API by selecting ‘VVB’ as the delivery code.
-
-
Static configuration: If all of your products should be sold with the VvB service, choose ‘VVB’ under 'static values' in the attribute 'delivery time code'.
-
Dynamic configuration: If only part of your product catalog uses VvB, you can configure this dynamically. See the 'Dynamic fields' section of this article for instructions on setting a dynamic delivery code.
-
-
Identifying VvB orders
You can distinguish VvB orders from other Bol orders in Channable. To do this:- Go to Setup > Setup Orders.
- Click on your Bol order connection.
- In the Options tab, enable the setting that distinguishes VvB orders. Channable will then append "-VVB" to relevant orders.
Unsupported features
At this time, Channable does not support the integration of the VvB order and shipping process. This includes order handling and the shipment process (such as creating shipping labels), which must be managed directly in Bol. Additionally, Channable cannot currently mark VvB orders as shipped automatically.
Additional Information
We are actively exploring ways to fully integrate the VvB order process into Channable. Until a solution is developed, there are two scenarios to consider if you are using VvB:
-
For VvB-only offers:
If all your offers use VvB, we recommend disabling shipping updates in your Bol order connection. In this case, you will handle all orders directly in Bol, as no automatic shipment process will occur between your webshop backend and Bol. -
For mixed offers (VvB and non-VvB):
If your product catalog includes both VvB and non-VvB items, you will need to manually handle VvB orders through the Bol seller portal before processing them in your webshop backend.
Additionally, Bol is developing plugins to directly connect webshops with the VvB process. While Channable has no control over when these plugins will become available, we will ensure compatibility with our order connection once they are released.
